Marmo, meaning “Marble” in Italian, will feature fresh hand-rolled pastas, house-made charcuterie, and hand-cut prime steaks. To complement the food menu, Marmo will boast an impressive wine list, with selections from all around the world spotlighted by wines from Italian regions. The bar and lounge will include a baby grand piano where a rotation of Houston’s best singers will perform nightly.

Happy Hour is offered daily from 3pm-6pm, on a first-come first-served basis, and is available at our bar, high top tables, and patio.

    This is a great choice if you are looking for a fun night out with friends or family. Whether there are 2 of you or 12, it’s lively, delicious, and a good time.

    The service from start to finish was poor. Made an 8:00 reservation but wasn’t seated until 8:45. Had I not inquired it would have been longer. The waiter took 20 minutes to come greet us. Total service took 3.5 hours for 2 people. We didn’t even have dessert. We had to flag down waiter for drinks and to order. Food was good but not worth the lack of service. There are too many great restaurants in Houston to put up with the bad service this place offered. Servers were friendly just not efficient. Maybe under staffed and a one off incident. Enjoyed the live music in bar area.

    This is one of Houston’s best restaurants. Very good steak and arguably even better pastas. The Rigatoni in Vodka sauce is better than Carbone’s and their Lobster fra diavolo is stunningly good. Their Italian favorites like Veal Parm and Veal Milanese are also remarkable. The atmosphere and live piano music is the frosting on the cake. It’s a updated version Gene and Georgetti (Chicago).

    It was incredibly loud and they had a piano player and singer in the corner. We couldn’t hear anything we were saying to each other. Our waitress acted like we were an inconvenience for her. We refilled our own water and had to ask other people passing by for things when needed. The food was mediocre at best.

    This is my third visit. Charred octopus had no char and tasted boiled. Bolognese was swimming in sauce it was like a soup, so strange. Halibut was grilled within an inch of its life and came out paper dry. Very disappointed with the food. If not for the service, I would have asked for my money back. The restaurant is beautiful but as you know your competition is stiff and for the price there are currently many better choices.

    Food is good although portions are small. Service is cordial and friendly. Pretty restaurant. Seating outside would be great but for the outside noise from the building complex itself. This restaurant is one of a number of establishments in a large building with a courtyard. I have been to this restaurant twice and both times, the music being played by a DJ outside was SO LOUD that literally the waiter had to shout for us to hear him and we had to shout for him to hear us. Needless to say, this loud music also made it difficult to have a dinner conversation across the table with friends. I noticed that the restaurant inside was extremely cold--too much air conditioning--and extremely noisy. Apparently a lot of hard surfaces bounced the voices from the many diners, all trying to be heard. Could be a better experience. May not return at busy times and definitely won't ask to be seated outside until I have checked out the building courtyard music first.

    The interior of the place is very hip and stylish but the noise level is overwhelming. The service was adequate. The food was good, not great, too salty and too expensive.

    Marmo never fails. The bolognese is incredible (best I’ve ever had in Houston), the service is 10/10 every time, and everything else we’ve tried on the menu is lovely. We stop by every time we’re in houston and always leave happy.
