Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests.     Our service was outstanding. The meals were not up to the standard we had expected. My wife had scallops with tiger shrimp and mussels. There was only 1 scallop. It was mostly shrimp and mussels. My lamb chops were just okay. They were done on the rarer side of medium as I like them. Her vegetables less than par. The carrots still hard and asparagus was woody. The noise level was such one had to speak loader than normal for a nice restaurant.

    An absolutely fabulous way to end the year. We shared the ribeye with brandy peppercorn sauce and vegetables; it was stunning. Beautiful presentation, and seriously the best steak we have enjoyed it ages — move over, Morrie’s. As always, the service was friendly and impeccable; you know you are a real creature of habit when your favorite server remembers your usual cocktail and appetizer order. Thank you to the Maribella crew for always making our evenings memorable.

    My husband and I went Maribella for New Years Eve early. Graham was our server and he made our experience fabulous. His personality and delightful smile were the prelude to the evening. He took care of us, always looking out for service needed, always making eye contact and knowledge to every need and always doing his best! Outstanding young man! Next we slipped over to Brix and Lucas attended to our every wish. Fantastic place!!

    Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Sioux Falls. QUALITY food through and through. Excellent service and well-curated atmosphere. Highly recommend!

    Happy to finally have excellent Italian in Sioux Falls. The food was fantastic. The service was top notch. The only lament was one of the dishes we ordered, the Nero, which tasted amazing, but there were only two scallops, which was not a good value for the $42 they charge for that dish. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal and look forward to trying the other dishes they have on the menu.

    Maribella is our favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls. Service is excellent from the front door to our server. This time we enjoyed Risotto Di Mare and Bucatini Con Aragosta. The spice in the lemon sauce for the Bucatini was a little too spicy. Other than that our food was excellent. Wine selection is great; we enjoy the wines from the Barolo region. Definitely end your evening with an affogato!

    Maribella is truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The setting was warm and inviting, with just the right blend of elegance and comfort. Our server was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like we were their top priority. The drinks were perfectly crafted, with unique flavors that showcased creativity and skill. As for the main course, every bite was perfection—delicious, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. And then came dessert, which was nothing short of heavenly. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already delightful experience. Maribella exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience!
