   We are so lucky to have such a little gem on our doorstep with London standards! Food was gold star quality and truly exquisite. A culinary joy and so fresh and healthy too.

   A quality restaurant and cafe in a beautiful setting. Not too large an establishment which means you get personal, friendly service. Not overbearing, not rushed but attentive to your needs.The staff are happy to adapt to your needs where they can. Very reasonably priced for lighter bites or full 3 courses. A little gem.

   Roast dinner didnt have roast potatoes, only boiled new potatoes, in a garlic butter. Potatoes were a bit hard with tough skins. Waitress forgot our drinks & we had to chase them after we had finished our starters & were then charged twice for them on the bill. Otherwise she was very pleasant. To warrant charging 15% service, the service needs to be on point

   Lovely setting and excellent service, but the food doesn’t quite live up this. Mothers’ Day menu was perfectly nice but the lamb was a cheap cut not well cooked. Huge flakes of sea salt sprinkled liberally on virtually everything. The menu felt as though it had been designed around cost and simplicity of preparation / ease of service and was nothing special. Would love the food to match the environment.

   Malverleys is an excellent place to come and enjoy. At one level there is a coffee shop where you can have snacks and there is a full restaurant with table service and a good menu. Both service and food are very good. My only criticism, as in many restaurants is the acoustics - high ceilings and hard floors do not help. For someone like me who is hard of hearing this can be a challenge but over all I give this restaurant 9 out of 10 and a place to keep returning to.

   Lovely setting, lots of potential. However, food was disappointing. Rump steak is a poor cut of meat, chewy. Grilled chicken is a ceaser salad. Farm produce should be the show case. Think Ottolenghi, The retreat. Food falls short of expectations.
