It was a lovely dining experience at The Magic Lamp. The decor was very attractive, the service was excellent. We were not rushed during our dining experience. The live music added so much to our time there and his voice and choice of music was great. Our meals were delicious I hope to come again!

Great food, bit expensive, service can be improved. Ambience is great. A throwback to old days. Great piano player on bar area. They had a good female singer near fireplace. Would go back again!

The magic has been brought back to the lamp! Wonderful service, wonderful food, delightful entertainment, so refreshing to go to an authentic timeless restaurant :)

Wonderful experience, with great service and food. Truly enjoyed going back to the Magic Lamp and having an incredible dining experience with their new renovation.

Live music was beautiful but hard to talk while performing or to order . Wish we were seated a bit away from people to close to couple that spent their time arguing and complaining. I know it’s out of the the control of the restaurant but would recommend separating the seats a little . More space over all lovely will come again . Also should consider making an area for dancing music was wonderful and ROMATIC :) loved spending my 5th year anniversary with my partner !

A drink ordered should not take 20 to 30 minutes to arrive at the table, nor should the waitress be reminded that steaks are not cut with butter knives.

The restoration of the ML has been done spectacularly. Having grown up in the area, the ML was our family place to go to. I was glad to read that the new ML had a dress code. It is unfortunate that they do not enforce it. We were seated by the fireplace area which was a huge mistake. The gentleman who was the live entertainment was exceptionally talented and his music enjoyable but he was so loud that the four of us could not hear each others conversation. If you go and want peace and quiet the bar is probably the best place to be seated. Can't understand why this guy wasn't in the bar. Our food was marginal at best. Supposedly, the head chef was out sick so possibly that is why the food was overcooked and served cold. Very disappointing. Very limited, pricey wine list. The staff was very nice but very slow. It took us about 1/2 hour to get the two bottles of wine we ordered when we arrived.

Food was excellent, but service wasn't. I thought my server forgot about us. The kid serving water was better than server.

Everything was “magical”. As soon as I walked in I felt a warm, comforting feeling. I was greeted with a beautiful smile when I checked in for our reservation. My sister was running a little late so I made my way to the bar and ordered an espresso martini. It was delicious. Not too bitter and not too sweet, perfection. I was told I could sit around the fire and listen to the entertainment while I sipped on my martini so I did. It was a one man show and he played all the greats from Sinatra, Elvis, The Beatles the list goes on and on. Very entertaining & something that you will remember. When my sister arrived they sat us at a comfortable booth in front of the fire and the very talented singer. Justine was our server and she was amazing. Thank you Justine! Our waters were always full and the dishes were cleared as soon as we finished each course. We ordered the wedge salad, scallops, sea bass and lobster Mac…everything was fantastic! I had actually dined here a couple of weeks before and ordered the scallops then and when I had one of my sisters it was cooked and tasted exactly the same. I adore consistency especially when you talk a place up. The chef came out and asked us how everything was, another great touch. We will absolutely be back again and again. Thank you for your time!
