    I really wanted to love this place. The setting and vibe is amazing! Full of life and good vibes. However, we were forgotten about. Our drinks came out super fast. They were delicious. Yet the food I wish I could say the same. I ordered the Moo Ping. There was little to no meat on the skewers. I basically ordered 4 sticks. We had to ask the waitress if she forgotten the other half of our order as it took 40 minutes to get my boiled rice and my friends dumplings. My friend’s dumplings had what it looked like an eyebrow hair on it. I ended up eating plain rice with a spoon 40 minutes after my tiny meatless skewers came out. The waitress said there was a backlog on dumplings however, she brought them out within 30 seconds of saying that. If the food had been better I would have loved the place. I will definitely come back for the cocktails but not to eat. All in all would recommend this place for pre drinks but not food.

    The food is amazing! Can definitely recommend the Beetal Leaf and Moo Ping as starters and Penang Prawn, Larb in Lettuce Leaves and Massaman beef as mains. Also try the cocktails - absolutely delicious. This is our fourth visit and the food is always excellent. The service was ok, waitress couldn't answer a few questions but didn't spoil the night.

    Food was great. Service pretty good. Made a booking well in advance for 9 people with a request for a window seat. Arrived to be shown to a table for 4 - which was rectified eventually but didn’t get our window seat.

    Cool decor, decent food, very good cocktails. I wouldn't say I've ever had an outstanding experience at Maew Maew, but it's also never been bad. I will say I'm probably not their key demographic, as I think it's very popular with a younger crowd. The view is great, the staff are always nice. We did unfortunatlely miss out on one of our dishes from the set menu, but they were quick to discount us at the till to make up for it and were apologetic. I think the noise level has improved since they first opened, I think they may have even put some insulation in place as it used to be very echoey, so if you've not gone back because of this, I will say I noticed a marked improvement and I'm very sensitive to noise. On the service, as good as it was, I would almost say the food came out too quickly as we were then in and out in less than an hour - I would have probably ordered another drink and taken our time a bit more, but it almost felt rushed and we got full very quickly on the small bites banquet. I'd rather see things come out a little more in stages and have time to get another cocktail in. Cocktails really were a highlight. I'll go back for sure when occasion calls for it.

    The food was really tasty however there was a half an hour difference between the first person in our group of four receiving their meal to the last person. The worst thing about the night though was a friend who is celiac who specifically ordered a gluten free meal, was told her meal wasn’t gluten free half way through her meal when they bought out the right one. The waitress panicked and just left the new meal in the table and left. While the staff were apologetic and refunded the meat, if you are a celiac I would recommend to not go to Maew Maew as this was a huge mistake.

    Great food, delicious cocktails! I have been here a few times now and the food and cocktails are consistently great! Easy to book online. Staff are friendly and competent. Overall a great spot for dinner and drinks!

    INCREDIBLE MEAL!!! Everything was elite, a must if you’re in Terrigal! Order multiple servings of pork Soup dumplings!
