Would not recommend the thanksgiving buffet. Cold and just awkward experience. Turkey and ham were good but cold and rest of the food was not very good and the desserts were not good at all. Service was also not great.

Thanksgiving buffet was overpriced for mediocre food and terrible service. The tables were tiny, cramped w/ bars barring legs from resting under the table. There wasn’t enough room for plates, glasses, etc for 4 people- especially since no one offered to clear our plates b/t courses or refill drinks my child and I had no water most of the meal. We had to track someone down to clear our plates before we could to get our next course at the buffet. Took a while There would not have been room on the tiny table for more plates. It was a cocktail table suitable for 2-way to small for 4 people for a buffet. The food was mediocre. The meat was not replaced quickly enough. I waited for my preference but finally gave up since ny food was getting cold. My meal was lukewarm by the time I ate it. The room turned so cold toward the end of our meal that we had to get our coats from coat check to wear at the table. Payment was done on a small device directed by a server and automatically added a 20% tip (which came to to $50 ) -plus we were prompted to add or decline additional tip in front of the server (awkward). The automatic tip not disclosed when purchasing tickets. I assumed for that price and a buffet it was included.

I hope this was just a one off situation. We came first brunch and the coffee was room temp, I ordered a tottie, they sent a kettle of room temp water- no tea. I sent the kettle back twice to warm up. Was never warm. We had to send a water cup back as there were white chunks of something floating. Food took 40 minutes. The server never came to get our dishes, we had to place them on another table. The pastries were dry and pretty tasteless. The French toast was delish! But the breakfast sandwich was odd and not good. We were there over 2 hours just to eat and go. They did comp our meal. The manager was nice, the staff was very young. There isn’t much on ambience. I wouldn’t go back.

The food was fair. We ordered the warm chocolate chip cookies with ice cream for dessert and they brought us store bought (really hard) sugar cookies with melted ice cream. The server was really nice. Do not recommend.

I love the changing menu that fits with the season. The Greek salad remains fantastic and should never leave the menu. The filet was nice. Lamb chops sounded better than they were with barely a hint of harissa. The charred octopus al pastor seemed like a great concept but I couldn’t find anything Al pastor related to it at all. I’d definitely skip it. The N/A and traditional drinks were great. I love the Suburban!

Overpriced crappy food and very few choices. $14 for a couple of slices of bread ( the flavored butter was good) the short rib pasta was very over salted and I have had better high school lunch meatloaf. Totally unacceptable offering when there are so many other good restaurants in Birmingham. If it wasn’t attached to the hotel it would be out of business

This is our second year in a row coming to Madam for my birthday. Leslie was our server again, and she is an absolute delight! The food was delicious, they made me feel very special for my birthday, and the overall experience was unforgettable. We will be back again next year!
