   When we were seated we were told most of the menu was unavailable. We came specifically for one item and it was not available so we left.

   Hello Tamesha, We are sorry to hear that we missed the mark on having our full menu available during your visit! Although we pride ourselves in being a from-scratch kitchen we also know that comes with the disappointement that some fan favorites are gone once they are gone. Although this may not be ideal to everyone it allows us to guarantee freshness and quality each day for our guests while also limiting potential wastes. I am sorry to hear that we didn't have what you were craving this past Sunday specifically as nothing beats ending your weekend with your favorite meal! I would love to learn what dish you were looking for so I can invite you back this week to enjoy a nice bite to make up for it!

   If you want quality, well seasoned soul/creole food with good portions, this is the place! This place is also charming and has a great ambiance. The servers and staff are all nice and attentive. Our table had the catfish, greens, yams, Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, gator bites and fried salmon (which is only available for March). Each and every item was amazing!

   Always a great time at Louisiana Purchase. Service was a bit slow and the appetizers took about 30 minutes to come out and the wings already started to cool off. Same with the shrimp & grits… the gumbo and begneits were piping hot, which was good. Servers were polite and helpful, but we had to stop someone a few times just to get some attention to our table.

    I ordered the lemon pepper catfish with greens, mac n cheese, and yams. My daughter ordered the shrimp and grits. We shared plates. Overall, the food was good. My catfish, greens, mac n cheese and yams came out nice and hot. The flvor of all of my food was excellent except the mac n cheese. For me, it lacked the gouda cheese flavor that I expected, especially for an uncharge of $4. Also, for the shrimp and grits....flavor was excellent but my suggestion would be to make sure that the grits are served piping hot and increaae the portion. For the price, I should have enough grits to enjoy all of my shrimp with grits. I will definitely be back because overall, it was an excellent experience.
