We were really looking forward to going to this place, upon arrival we were greeted and sat down within 10 minutes. It took about 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken, you don’t get water upon sitting down and when you ask for it you are told it’s tap water from the faucet not filtered , so if you order water be prepared to pay $4.00 for a bottle of water if you want to drink water. We ordered drinks , and they were ok nothing special kinda cute , the chica fresa with a little bottle of Moét was $39 so make sure enjoy it, the Dona lencha was just vodka and some kind of soda water the waitress said it was muddled berries but not really much at all, the margaritas were basic, the guacamole and chicharones also got guacamole with chips that came with about 7or 8 chips we could never get refilled and that were probably the best thing we ordered. We ordereded the Tierra y Mar the steak was raw undercooked and the lobster was overcooked like rubber and cold, they did offer to re make it, the Carne en su jugo was decent just added a little salt, we ordered 5 different types of taco plates and they were just regular tacos with onion and cilantro on them, the enchiladas verde never came, by now we all need refills and have already asked for them twice, we are thirsty and now getting annoyed because we have no lemons, no salsa or hot butter for the lobster, never got our Tijuana salad we ordered either and all still waiting for our drinks , talk about being parched and really annoyed . I literally got up and walked to the bar to ask for some drinks. I really wanted to love this place and the reviews on yelp are mixed. Unfortunately it was a mess and nothing stood out as being at least good except for the Mariachis . It was my daughter’s birthday and wanted a nice special dinner but we were all very disappointed. The service was absolutely horrible and I really did feel bad for the ONE waitress that was trying to serve us. Out bill was over $450 really not worth it.

Food is good. They're a little on the pricey side. What I really disagree on is if it's your birthday you don't get a free dessert. They tell you they provide the show (1 min show) but you have to pay for a dessert or drink/shot of your choice.

Everything was such a vibe music food was incredible, but the drinks were a little pricey but overall great experience and I will definitely come again

I had an amazing experience Eduardo our server was absolutely amazing! He helped me celebrate my sister’s birthday was checking up on us constantly just amazing service!

I had a terrible experience at Los Amores de Julia. I had a reservation that I booked through open table at 8:00 PM. I arrived and the host said he could not find my reservation. I was then put into their system and the host said he would find a table for me within 10 minutes. After 15 minutes I asked how much longer and he said he was prioritizing larger parties, rather than seating my party of four. It was now 8:45 PM and I saw a party of five, that arrived 5-10 minutes after me, be seated before us. At this point, I became very upset because I kept being pushed to the side by the host. I was then offered a table outside (patio), which I refused because it was a cold night and I did not reserve patio seating on my initial reservation. I requested to speak to a manager and the host only provided me with the number and said I could not speak to him in person. Approximately one hour after my reservation, I was finally seated. This was a huge disappointment because I looked forward to celebrating my birthday at Los Amores de Julia. It should also be noted there were other guest that were experiencing the same issue with their reservations made through OpenTable.

We had a nice experience last night. That was until the bill came. When ordering drinks we asked what the cost was for a different type of tequila and the server said $4 per drink. Some of us agreed and when the bill arrived it was an additional $18 per drink not $4. We asked to speak to the manager and after almost an hour he took off one drink ›$20 (not including the additional $18) and didn't add didn't include the mandatory tip because we were a group of 8. We still tipped the server 20% because he was attentive and kind.

they spent more time singing happy birthday to people than attending their customers. we got there at 7 pm and didn’t get served food until 8:15. our server forgot our drinks and appetizer, he kept serving the table next to us instead. the food sucked, it was all so salty. this place is overhyped and overpriced mexican food, mcdonalds taste better than this. the experience sucks. the food portions are somewhat ok, you kinda get what you paid for besides the taste. i got guacamole on my side and it was like they used the smallest spoon to serve it. the rice tasted old. nothing had flavor just salty. the presentation of the food is at least pretty but overall it sucks.

I loved it here, staff was kind amazing and happy. The food was delicious, inexpensive portions were good. Margaritas tasty. Overall I recommend 100%
