   The food was amazing! We liked the guac a lot! The chips were delicious! The carne asada is fantastic! We also had the margaritas and they were yummy! The server was running like crazy. She was so nice and accommodating! Yeah they were swamped so maybe not fast but it’s NOT a fast food joint so whatever! And actually the food came out quick. The owner is cool. Will be back!

   This was the best place to have Valentine’s Dinner. We drove to SLC from California and were 30 minutes late for our reservation. The staff honored our reservation and we had a wonderful dining experience which included long stem roses for the ladies, the cutest trailer/photo booth with complementary photos and a delicious dinner. We will be back again!

   Phenomenal restaurant. In the best part of slc. Fish tacos and steak quesadilla were amazing!

   The service was great. The food looked & tasted amazing. Loved the ambiance & so nice that they let you take a rose as you left & you could have your picture taken outside in a fun Photo Booth for free. Such a fun place to go for Valentine’s Day!

   Its kind of expensive for not a ton of food. $18 for two tacos, and majority of my taco was purple cabbage with some chicken. We were in and out of the restaurant from being sat to paying. They did give us a rose for valentines day, which was a fun tough. We left hungry though.

   Food and service were great! We ordered the Open Face Burrito, Tinga Empanada, and the guacamole side. The meat in the burrito was perfectly tender and overall a great dish and the Tinga empanada was also fantastic. We could have lived without the guacamole and should have tried something else given in being $18 and nothing to write home about. Overall a great restaurant experience!

   Not a good experience. Started with mixed feelings, but things fell apart after we finished our meal and waited for 10-15 minutes watching our server and one other server (understaffed?) chatting and cleaning. The chefs too were chatting and cleaning. No one even made a glance our way. This is before closing time btw. At least two other tables were full. We finished our food and waited and staired, thinking surely she’ll feel our gaze and look our way, and come take our dessert order. Nope, that never happened. I told her of our disappointment and she was surprisingly under apologetic. We changed our mind on dessert, and left very frustrated. I will not be going back. This was only my second time eating there but my third time trying. The first time I LOVED! My wife and I were excited to return, but our initial attempt was a weekend drop-in an hour and twenty minutes before closing time advertised on the website, but only 20 minutes before closing time posted on the locked door. We were excited to try again and we made a reservation. This is how the night went. Open sign on, Lola sign dark — not good. Room temperature very cold —bad. Full house — good. Room volume loud. Mostly one table— not bad. Same menu as we had in summer — disappointing. Asked specifically about seasonality/availability of the cantaloupe, and we were assured of it being available. It came out as honeydew — not good. Food fine, nothing to brag about. Staff full on cleaning the kitchen and restaurant before we are even done eating — very bad. Server brought an extra specialty drink because she perceived we may not have liked the first one we ordered — very good! I was prepared to tip her very well and forget all of the other things listed above. But we never saw here again at our table until she brought the bill, as I described above. I will not be going back.

   Our server was wonderful but the restaurant only had one server on a Saturday evening so she had zero time to really provide the service I’m guessing she wanted to. She still made sure we had water on the table, drinks, and anything else we needed. The flavors of the food were good but overall, our party was not a fan of the majority of the items or the portion sizes for the price. The cocktails were delicious (especially the Paloma) and the churro dessert with raspberry cream and lemon curd was SO good. If you’re looking for an upscale Mexican influenced restaurant, there are definitely better options in the SL Valley. Overall, I probably will choose to dine at one of those instead in the future.
