   We came to Limani celebrate a friend's birthday because it is one of our favorite luncheon spots in Charlotte - ambience, food, service all wonderful. Especially good food we enjoyed today: Limani Zucchini Chips - shared by all 4 of us Greek spreads Grilled Octopus Royal Dorado Yogurt with Greek Thyme Honey Look forward to our next visit.

   Paulina was great - everything she recommended was brilliant. Terrific ambiance, lovely staff and the food... was unreal. 10/10

   As usual, the food at Limani never disappoints! Had the octopus salad and it was delicious!

   I went about 1.5 yrs ago and didn’t like it. Gave it another chance and it was fantastic. Delicious food, service soooo much improved and just a wonderful atmosphere. I felt valued and not rushed and I will be back. Loved it!

   From the hostess, to the waiting staff, every time is an unfortunate experience. Everyone is so amazing. The food is always cooked to perfection and is always so fresh. Every seafood dish is amazing. The house made pita is unbelievable. Easily one of the top 3 restaurants in Charlotte.

   Limani chips excellent as always. Tomato salad very good, excellent dressing. John Dory was good but not the freshest, slightly fishy tasting; for $94, should have been excellent; Dover Sole was a bit rubbery - again, for the price should not have been. Greek red wine for $70 was excellent.

   The food was quite good but the service left a lot to be desired. Before our seats were warmed, the female sommelier was pushing hard for us to purchase a bottle of Greek wine for more than $200. We declined. Then, our server took our meal orders and pushed hard for us to order appetizers, as he said our main course would take “40 minutes” to arrive. We declined. The entrees actually came in about 10 minutes. I like the food here and it’s a beautiful restaurant but management needs to back off on the hard sell employed by its servers. It’s not only annoying, it’s disrespectful of its clientele.

    We’ve enjoyed Limani at least 6-7 times. My fresh fish entree was excellent. But, the ribeye was a poor cut with tendon spots. The seafood pasta was average- too much sauce and not enough variety in seafood. Overall the food was not worth the money. The service was very good and our captain’s assistance with wine selection was very helpful. I’m hoping this was just an ‘off night’ but it’s difficult to justify repeat visits without the value proposition.
