Küchenchef Geoff erwartet Sie mit echter Gastfreundschaft, zwangloser Küche und italienischem Flair. Das Lia's ist ein Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft im Herzen von Chevy Chase. Service was very good. Appetizers were good, but the pastas were the worst I have ever had. Truly unappetizing and paste-like, really felt like they were not cooked for more than a couple minutes and probably in lukewarm water. I’ve been here before and it wasn’t much better but not as bad as this visit.

We were there for brunch. I had the BLT Eggs Benedict with each ingredient individually and layered together sheer perfection. Spring greens accompanying it dressed in light lemony vinaigrette that was the perfect contrast to the eggs. My guest had specific dietary needs and Lia’s graciously made substitutions creating her perfect brunch. Knowing Lia’s desserts but already satisfied by the more than generous entrees, we ordered to go Classic Tiramusu (ladyfingers, mascarpone, espresso, rum, and cocoa!) and the Cannoli Trio (chocolate, pistachio and orange ricotta). Both can be shared. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Lovely atmosphere- couples, multi-generational families celebrating together and, in testimony to how good Lia’s is, oodles of neighbors back for their regular weekend treat. Enjoy❣️

My wife and I really liked it. Good food, fair prices, table clothes. We had no idea this gem was so close to us.

The food and service is excellent including the front desk. The "tables for two" are nicely arranged, but larger groups are accomodated as well. The food was still hot when we received it which is great especially for fish dishes. Our server was very attentive and helpful with our requests. Try the Sea Bass!!

It was restaurant week and we had a Seabass. Fabulous. The waitress was extremely attentive and helpful regarding the dessert choice. Can’t recommend this place enough. And it’s important to know that you can hear your dinner partner at this restaurant. That is often not the case in DC restaurants
