Levan is a restaurant in the heart of Peckham serving contemporary European dishes, inspired by the ‘bistronomy’ movement and our favourite eateries in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin, with a focus on low intervention wines. Join us for dinner and lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We offer an a la carte menu and a £59pp chefs tasting menu. Groups over 5 will be asked to dine from the chefs menu.

Please check our website for our most up to date offering.

Seatings are for 2 hours, after which we may require the table back.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance. We may not be able to cater to them without advanced notice.

If you arrive late for your booking we may ask you to choose from a reduced menu.

Cancellations - we are a small, independent restaurant, so please let us know if you cannot make your reservation.

    Abseits der Touristenpfade aber gut erreichbar. Die Gegend vibriert vor Energie. Unklar, was an einem Freitag Abend mehr Spass macht: das Essen und die ausgezeichnete Weinauswahl zu genießen oder das Leben auf der Straße zu beobachten. Mehr London geht nicht.

    Good and varied choice of dishes, the amuse bouche was quite big and could have served as a starter. The artichoke starte was delicious.

    The food at Levan is always excellent. It’s astonishing they don’t have a Bib Gourmand or similar.

    Wasn't ideal to be sat near the toilets when we were one of the first larger tables in. Service was polite but not very engaging when we went to dine for the Pig Dance event. Food was tasty and enjoyed most of the 7 course menu. There was a 30 minute delay from one of the courses and no acknowledgement was made prior until the food arrived and an apology was made. Overall it was a nice evening, always enjoy Levan but wasn't blown away with the evening.

    My partner and I had a fabulous lunch at Levan yesterday (3rd November). The welcome was extremely warm and the staff had noted my request to sit on a high top overlooking the kitchen (it's always fascinating!). Service was friendly and prompt and our meal - comte fries followed by the Sunday steak-frites special - was delicious. We mopped up every last drop of the parsley sauce. My partner then had the lovage and yuzu sorbet which was exceptional, and the chef explained how they make it so smooth. We've been to Levan several times and have always had a superb experience and we will certainly be returning very soon. Definite recommend.

    Sunday special as advertised, beautiful fillet of steak cooked perfectly and served with generous bowl of crisp fries (frites). If you like a salad or veg you need to order side dishes, but the dressing on the steak was delicious and enjoyed with a glass of beer. We had our border terrier with us, who had her picture taken by the owner for socials. We ate at 12.30pm, so fairly quiet restaurant, but very attentive staff and calm Sunday vibes. Without us mentioning they noticed it was my daughters birthday and gave her a handmade chocolate with a candle. Very much appreciated, thank you.

    After a somewhat disappointing dinner back in May we returned with a meal 'voucher' kindly supplied by Levan. I am very pleased to say every we ate was faultless and delicious and presented beautifully. As always the staff were friendly and attentive. Certainly not a budget option but they deliver outstanding food with flair. Highly recommend them!
