This was our first time at Leo’s. The atmosphere is incredible and every staff member was attentive. Everything from oysters with caviar, peanut butter old fashioned, lobster ravioli, short rib and crème de pot was fabulous!!!! Our waiter Ryan was perfection. This is our new favorite place! The manager checked on us numerous times to ensure that our experience was top notch! Thank you for making our anniversary so special!

Over all it was good just would like to point out more lighting would be great upstairs as we couldn’t even see the menu with out pulling out out phones for light and when our food came out I really couldn’t see my steak great either seemed a bit dark by the stairs. So more lighting Would be great!!!

The food was excellent and the service was attentive. The price point was, however, extravagant and did not match the quantity of the servings or overall ambiance of the restaurant.

Avery was our server. He was fantastic all evening. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the piano player and singer. They were both very good. Wife and I each had steaks and they were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Crab topping and Maitre D topping were both a welcome addition to the steaks. The potato entree was very good. I’d come back for it alone. The best part of the experience was the orange ginger soufflé. It’s special. All in all really good spot with really good drinks and food. Definitely coming back!!

Leo’s was great. Our server had great energy and wine recommendations and the wine was a good value. Everything was excellent the team accepted my recommendation of being in the golden booth which had an awesome vibe and view of the room with enough seclusion. Proportion were a tad small if we didn’t get al a carté then we would have needed 3 entrees. Highly recommend a little expensive for food value ask for proportion recs if your hungry

While we loved it, I wish dress code was more strictly enforced as website states. That is what happens in Houston lately. There were a couple of guests in sloppy jeans and t-shirts or women in dresses that everything was hanging out.. due to it being in River Oaks you expect a high level of class and expectations and I don’t think anyone would mind being told they are not allowed in due to clothing choices, especially when it is stated online. Leo’s has great potential to stay one of the hot spots in houston, I’d had to see it go. We drive in to houston from about an hour out for the experience coming from a ranching town, so everything sets the tone on why we want to experience new places.
