Das Aushängeschild des Legal Sea Foods ist wirklich frischer Fisch. Shoppen macht hungrig – das wissen wir. Unser Restaurant befindet sich auf der obersten Etage des Copley Place.     Hervorragendes Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Habe ein Dutzend Austern bestellt, es wurde eine Auswahl von 6 verschiedenen Sorten serviert. Einfach top. Gerne wieder.

    The food was delivered warm but not hot. Both the server and the hostess offered to remake our food, but we didn’t have time for them to do that. The food preparation was mediocre: everything except the bang bang cauliflower was bland and the broccoli was undercooked. If you’ve been going to Legal for years, you are familiar with the rolls—which used to be delicious. They are now half their former size and not as tasty. They made me even more nostalgic for the old days, when paying $92 for two people was well worth it. Definitely not now. I think last Saturday may have been our last visit.

    The ambiance is 1980s, but in that era both the food and service at Legal was consistently good. Service was good today but the food was very, very salty (both the trout and the tuna burger). The restaurant was also 90% empty at lunchtime. Sadly this location is very past its prime.

    We were seated in a tight corner. We had a party in front of us. Next to us was empty. A few minutes later the hostess seated a party of 4 next to us. There were plenty of other open tables. The party was very lively and bit loud--to which they are entitled. However we could no longer hear each as we were somewhat wedged between two parties now. Additionally, the way the table was situated even our server had a hard time getting to our table. So we asked our server Stefan if we could move. He was very amenable and immediately moved us. Later, Esther, a supervisor came by and we told her what happened. She too was helpful. So, in the end all was very good. It was surprising why the hostess seated all of us as she did. Neither Stefan nor Esther made us feel uncomfortable with our ask to move, that was very appreciated. Food was excellent, enjoyable evening.
