The waiter Jorge was great with customer service, above and beyond taking his time to explain with details regarding drinks, food menu.The drinks were good as expected, the food, However the manger that was there on duty didn’t a knowledge us and other customers by greeting or asking how was everything with the service or food. The place is nice and would recommend it to my friends and family.

The place is beautiful, but the service was not that great. The drinks did not taste so good. The food was kind Of too salty. It was good for one time.

This was our first time to Lagos... and it will be out last. When we walked in we were pleasantly surprised how nice the restaurant looked. But in the end a restaurant is judged based on quality of food and service. The food was simply subpar and hard to call this Mexican. The tacos were bland and overpriced. The shrimp tacos and enchiladas were unseasoned bay shrimp stuffed in a tortilla. The steak tacos were under seasoned, tough, and plain. Two enchiladas plates were returned because the food came out cold. The rice is not Spanish or Mexican rice but basmati. The beans were bland and refried beans not appealing or edible. The tamales tasted a week old, were dry, chewy, and had unseasoned stringy chicken. They were not dressed like you would expect in a high end restaurant. I've had far better tacos and enchiladas at any fast food or fast casual restaurant for a fraction of the cost spent at Lagos. As far as service, our server was ok but inexperienced. We did tip full value since we had a large party, despite not recognizing our birthday guest as reserved and notified upon arrival. They did recognize quests birthdays and multiple tables all around. We left believing they passed that up since we returned two plates and a glass of wine that was in a dirty glass. A highlight were the drinks though. They came out fresh, appealing to the eye, and generally well received by the party. Overall, for essentially tacos and a few drinks this was the worst value I had ever spent at a restaurant..... bar none! When I spend a few hundred dollars on dinner I expect to be wowed... not ripped off.....

It was the best choice to celebrate my daughter's 21st. Jorge, the waiter was excellent and met our expectations. The drinks were amazing, and the food was incredibly delicious. I'm definitely coming back. ☆☆☆☆☆

As always, excellent service and great food!! We were a party of 4 and we shared 2 tablitas, 3 amigos guacamole, Old Fashioned and margarita tree. Our server Garret provided 5 star service!! Will return.

This place was great for a friend’s birthday celebration. Great food and drinks! Our waiter Eder gave us great food suggestions & he was very accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Full Story on Yelp RUINED the birthday brunch We had a reservation for a party of 10 on a Sunday. I called the restaurant at 1:50 PM on Saturday to ask if I can bring in a cake to store for the following day. The gentleman that answered the phone said that they would be able to store it,I reconfirmed that the reservation is set for the next day. Once I got the green light,I quickly stopped by a bakery,drove straight to the restaurant, one less thing to worry about. The brunch was supposed to be a surprise, so dropping off the cake would’ve saved me time for the cake surprise the following day. When I attempted to drop it off, the hostess mentioned that they don’t store cakes…I was thrown off because the person on the phone said it was ok 15 minutes ago?She then grabbed a manager,which happened to be the Chef. The “chef” basically said, They don’t store cakes anymore since they had an incident and it’s for precaution purposes. For the inconvenience, he would take care of some appetizers for us. I completely understand; allergies, Karen’s, etc… Mind you, I kept my composure, ok cool.. that doesn’t change the fact that I wasted 45 minutes with this errand since I was told I was able to bring the cake by the person who answered the phone. The following day, we check in to our reservation, got sat 15 minutes early, perfect! The hostess directed us to our table while I have the cake on my hand. You know, the cake that was supposed to be a surprise which failed since I had to walk in with it? I asked the hostess once again if she can put in the back and bring it out once we are done.. Same answer, couldn’t store it. In my mind I was like.. but the answer from yesterday was that you couldn’t store overnight? Regardless, maybe not the fridge, but at this point a counter top at the bar, a corner in the kitchen, etc. A minute later, the “chef” comes storming to our table!! There was no introduction on his behalf or greeting, just pointed directly at me, verbally rais..
