Incredible experience - food, service, drinks. We had a healthy sharing of the appetizer and dessert menus in addition to each having a steak, and we can’t decide which of the several dishes we enjoyed most.

omg, it was AMAZING. definitely satisfied my seafood cravings and comes close to one of my favorite spots in Tulum, Q.ROO, MX. The combination of flavors and plates we got all meshed well together and the bread service was one of the better ones my partner and I’ve had in the city. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We would come back again. We ordered: Crab croquettes(our fav dish), Steamed mussels(personal fav), Crispy Leek & Eggplant fritters(tasted like chiles rellenos) , Beef tartare, Tuna crudo(another fav), and Linguine & Clams(worth it). To drink definitely go with the St. Tropez spritz and the Espresso Martini was made very good.

Drinks, appetizers and ambiance were amazing. The espresso martini was very good. The tuna crudo appetizer was also very good.

Food was mostly very good and the space is quite pretty. SO rushed however and the 90 minute table pace was uncomfortable for the level of cuisine and cost. Would not recommend as such.

The restaurant is beautiful with some quirky old fashioned decor added in for interest. The food was excellent and our party all enjoyed their dishes. Service was a bit uneven as the restaurant was crowded with the holiday season being in full swing. The noise level was very high - I think there was a holiday party at the bar so that was a bit annoying. However, we enjoyed the evening and look forward to visiting again in the spring!

La Serre is in a great location, lots of street energy and the ambiance was nice. When we arrived, we sat at the bar and had some great cocktails while waiting for our guest to arrive. Once seated, I noticed the table had drips of food on it probably from the previous diners. Our server was not very attentive and it took a while to order our appetizer and bottle of wine. the appetizer came and went before the bottle of wine arrived at the table. I had bits of food stuck to my wine glass as well. The food was very good but table placement was sloppy, lots of reaching over things by the staff. My wife mentioned to the waitress that it was my birthday and arranged for a desert to be brought to the table after dinner which was never brought out :( The noise level was outrageous, you literally needed to lean in to the table to follow the conversation.

Initial experience was poor. We checked in for our 745 reservation a few minutes early, but were not seated until around 830pm. Once seated, experience was great.
