   All the food we ordered was delicious and the waitstaff were helpful and friendly. I only knocked them a star because there were long pauses between courses, especially between ordering and getting our appetizers. We were seated at 6 in a fairly empty restaurant and didn’t leave until 8:30 (by which time it had filled up). We weren’t in a rush but not a place I’d recommend if you are. We are planning to come back and try more of the menu, definitely recommended.

   I had made a reservation weeks in advance for my birthday. We had to stand and wait 30 minutes for our table. The hostess was rude as we asked how much longer the wait was going to be. She turned to the other hostess and seemed to mock our questions or talk to her about her frustrations with my group. We were also looking at the menus on the stand and she literally took them away. I had a party of 10, so we took up a lot of space by the host stand. She told us to basically get out of the way as if we had anywhere else to go. She told us to go to the bar and there was no where for a group of 10 to sit or stand. Plus we didn’t want to go spend more money somewhere that wasn’t treating us correctly. We should have gotten a glass of bubbles while we waited so long especially for a birthday. They didn’t offer any type of compensation for the 30 minute wait on my birthday until one of my friends ASKED if there was anything that could be done. Also, not a single person apologized for the wait? It took one of my friends a half hour to get his first drink after we sat down. With my group, we spent over $1K. We should have been treated way better for that. I would definitely not recommend this place. Especially for a special occasion.

   We had a beautiful time at La Serre. Our group of 6 shared the crab croquettes (order of 6), caviar service, fusilli pasta, duck chinoise, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was super flavorful and delicious, especially the crab, duck, and pasta. The ambience makes you feel like you’re transported to the French Riviera. We will definitely be back soon!

   The food is sooo good. I have been here a few times and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but the service is always so slow. It took us 3 hours to get out of there for two people to dine and it wasn’t busy. The food is worth the wait but don’t go if you have somewhere to be after.

   Orlando was fantastic. The food was fantastic. It was a quiet Sunday, we were celebrating my wife's birthday (a bit late) with her mother and we were just blown away by it all. The Fusilli was amazing. I didn't love the Steak Tartar, it was a little sauce heavy for me, but that was much more of a personal preference than a preparation issues. Will go back, probably soon, probably within the next two weeks.

   We arrived at 7:08, the hostess immediately informed us by that our reservation wasn’t until 7:15 therefore our table wasn’t ready. We felt scolded by the cold greeting and asked if we should wait at the bar. We took our seats at the bar and greeted the bartender with “how are you today” to which he coldly responded that he would be better if we new what we wanted to order. The overall mood was cold and stressed employees that tried to stay calm and not let their tone ruin the birthday celebration and beautiful restaurant atmosphere. The hostess later sincerely apologized after I told her about our experience. The one special note I had on the reservation was to bring a dessert with a candle, this wasn’t done. I had to ask for the server to please bring us a candle after the dessert arrived with no mention of a birthday.
