    Great marketplace to pick and choose authentic Italian items. Great coffee and dessert selections in the market. Alpina offered some tasty fondue.

    The chicken was overcooked, and the noise level at the Alpina area excessive. Our entrees did not arrive together, but were several minutes apart

    Overall Alpina Is a nice idea and the dishes are pretty tasty. But some are small or need improvement. Mushroom arancini was good, but would be more satisfying with a good tomato sauce. The potatoes croquettes are very simple and lack flavour, and also come with no sauce to make them taste like something. Short rib ragu polenta was tasty and satisfying but we wish it had a bit more meat and sauce. The speck gnocchi were 3 very tasty big balls, but as a main dish it’s somewhat disappointing. The 4 cheese gnocchi was fine but not enough sauce and zing to it. Chocolate fondu was yummy but they should cut the strawberries to larger pieces and maybe add another kind of fruit.

    The Alpina experience and decor was nice. Tried the short rib polenta, canederli and chocolate fundue. The short rib portion was small and chewy. Canederli and fondue were good.

    Great idea to bring Italian Alps experience to Toronto. We really enjoyed pre fixed two courses meal and Italian wine. Definitely planning to visit again if not for food maybe gelato

    I ordered the short ribs /polenta. It was mushy, and had no flavour. I felt like I was eating something that had been sitting in the fridge for a week. Very disappointed. Wont go back! The server was great and I enjoyed my time there with a friend.

    I’ve been eating at Eataly regularly for almost 4 years now. First I experienced bad service. The server was extremely rude and inhospitable. She had no patience and treated us like she’s doing us a favour. The host was extremely nice and warm. Food was impeccable as always. I really hope Eataly looks into this matter. Thank you!
