BOAT TOUR AND DINNER
Available from Wednesday to Sunday for a dinner cruise that includes a 2- or 3-course meal.
La Peniche is a restaurant located on the barge MV Riasc (La Peniche is French for barge) which is moored on the Grand Canal alongside Mespil Road between Baggot and Leeson Street bridges.
We are open for dinner cruises from Wednesday to Sunday. There is also a lunchtime service on Saturday and Sunday, La Peniche is located just 10 minutes from Stephen's Green, a 10 minute walk from Grand Canal Dock, a 15 minute walk from the Aviva Stadium and a 10 minute walk from the Charlemont Luas stop.

Bring your own decorations to make the atmosphere more personal. You have the whole barge to your group, no strangers in your space.

The barge provides an elegant and unique environment for hen and stag nights, private parties, birthdays, corporate events, staff events and weddings. The barge can accommodate up to 60 guests, there is a minimum of 40 required for private hire.

Fui con mi novio a celebrar mi cumpleaños, realmente me sorprendí de lo bien organizado que fue todo, las bebidas, la comida deliciosa. Solo que a los meseros se les olvidó mi petición de cumpleaños y se la dieron a otra persona. En general un paseo bellísimo.

Incredible food, amazing experience, and friendly staff! Booked this as a late Mother’s Day while visiting Dublin and had a wonderful time. Couldn’t recommend more!

We booked the Mother's Day cruise as a group of 5 adults and really enjoyed the experience. The novelty of dining on the boat was exciting and exceeded expectation. The options on the menu were great and catered for the vegetarians within our group. We were all very pleased with our food options especially the fish and aubergine mains. The staff were really attentive and worked really well together as a team on the boat to keep all of the guests happy. We also had an opportunity to go to the upper deck as the boat sailed along the canal, which was a great experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we had a really lovely Sunday afternoon.

We ate at La Peniche on Christmas night, and it was outstanding. The food was great, the staff were hard working and diligent, and everything was cool. My only complaint was that, as a broad shouldered American on a completely booked night, the quarters were a little tight. Otherwise, outstanding--I highly recommend.

Excellent review! Food was great, chef did a great job despite the very small kitchen. Service was good as well. The whole ambience was romantic - just ideal for dates or with small group of friends 👍🏻
