    Join us Wednesday, Feb 26th for our first Bluefin Tuna Cutting and Omakase Tasting Menu by Chef Saran "Peter" Kannasute, featuring a one-of-a-kind multi course omakase dinner. •General Ticket Price: $225 PP •Deposit: A $50 PP deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit is applied toward the total price and is not an additional fee. The remaining balance will be charged at the restaurant. Details: Seated Experience: 6PM to 9PM Pre-Event: 5PM-6PM Diners are invited to arrive early for complimentary sake samplings and caviar bite tastings. While general tickets do not guarantee a direct view of Chef Kannasute, diners will be able to take photos/ videos of the whole Bluefin Tuna at this time.

    Fun atmosphere w quite good food characterized by a lot of hi end ingredients ( Wagyu,Uni,etc)- Some fun creative combinations but Not ideal if one is a sushi purist. ( shoyo vs soy sauce and some sushi was smoked w lavender-very nice touch but not a traditional Japanese preparation service was amicable but a bit slow particularly before getting to order While one could possibly get good value here only by ordering very carefully. All good but value requires great discipline here (sushi or sashimi) combinations etc We did not restrain ourselves and spent 700+ w tip for 3 of us w only $45 of alcohol( 300 ml of sake) A good example was a wonderful scallop dish w uni etc Basically a scallop sliced into 5 thin pieces for $45. It was really fantastic and a good example

    sushi was compared to georgetown dining hall sushi. everything has uni or caviar or wagu. it was fine, wouldn’t go again.

    Always a great stop. Probably the best high end sushi place in DC. Vibes are VERY Miami like. If you’re considering SHoTo, do yourself a favor and come here.

    This spectacle of design carved into the foundations of old Georgetown is a winner in multiple ways. First it offers wonderful, creative Japanese food, gorgeously presented. It has a marvelous array of sakes both by the bottle and flask ( try the red star!). And it is a beautiful space with a great vibe. Wow! Only question is how to order- kind of confusing. Get help from the wait staff.
