Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Charlotte, NC , Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.

Parties of 5+ call: 312-659-1951 between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

If you are past the 15 minute grace period your reservation will be forfeited then you will be accommodated as a walk-in.

The website can us an update. The dress policy didn't meet the level of what we saw SADLY. The Ambiance was nice for picture taking. Pricing of the food was a bit high for quality, though not bad but again a bit $$$$. K&k missed the mark. Its a one and done for me.

Overall K&K was a good experience . The food was good i had fried green tomatoes and my husband had jerk noodle or rice (can’t remember the exact name ) . dinner i had fish and grits and he had catfish and black eyed peas the food was really good . I will say a 20% tip is included however the service we received from the waitress was most definitely not worth 20% . She was spending too much time at one table (im thinking she may have known them ) We both had it to where our drinks was wrong , our water was not adequately refilled. We had to stop her in passing and I had to ask the manager about our drink being incorrect. We have no problem paying or tipping however the service most definitely should be superb. The managers was really nice though. There was no wait , we actually was seated as soon as we came in. Most definitely try it out for yourself. I will go back again if the opportunity ever presents itself

This place was absolutely amazing!!!!! I will return again. The staff always ensured that we were straight the food didnt take a long time to come even with amount of people that was there and the food was seasoned to perfection the drinks was amazing also the whole experience was a 10/10

The food and service were excellent. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were exceptional.

I took my daughter here for her 29th birthday on a Friday night. We were immediately seated for our 6pm reservation. The food selections were great. We ordered appetizers, drinks entrees and dessert. Our server expressed that turkey wings were out of season which we found surprising but we had no issues finding something different because there were plenty of options. They do charge a 20% gratuity for each table which is listed on their menu. I did ask for clarity to determine if I should add a tip for my server and was met with an attitude. My server stated it's a shared amount. For a bill over $350 the attitude was not what I expected. Especially since I was going to tip additional. The environment also turns more into a club after 7pm with a dj and the staff started to rush the earlier diners out to make way for their later night patrons. I overheard the table behind us saying the same thing. We were continuously asked if we wanted to take our food to go. We were again asked when placing a dessert order. The wait staff started clearing dishes away from our table prematurely as well to rush the process. My daughter felt the shift in energy as well. I will not be returning.

The food was amazing! We had an assortment of items from the menu and our expectations were exceeded for every single choice. From the Jerk Chicken Noodle Soup to the Southern Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Jerk Lamb Chops, Cinnamon Roll Waffles... we're still trying to decide what our favorite part of the meal was - all of it was my favorite!

We had a reservation still took over 45 mins to be seated, after ordering our food we waited over an hour to get our food. Ask the waitress for water, that took forever we ended up asking another waitress and she immediately took care of us. She was all over her tables providing great service to her tables. Oh! And we received the Asian sauce for our lamb chops 40 mins before we got our food. Not sure what we were supposed to do with the sauce without our food. Been here several times before and had excellent service. Maybe it was an off night but not what I expected when spending nearly $400.00.

This is my third time trying to give this restaurant a try. The first time we stood at the front for 10-15 min before we were even greeted. We had a reservation and were finally seated in the bar area. The food was good and the service was good. My second experience was the second night of the Usher concert. We had a a reservation for 6pm for a party of 4. We waited an hour and a half to be seated. They were running way behind on reservations and people were everywhere. The concert started at 8 and was next door. We knew that we should have been close to being seated and we were standing near the hostess stand when a group walked right in who clearly knew the manager. She whispered to them,”I’ll get you seated.” We noticed and told them that we had been waiting. They seated us next. We only had time for something quick so we ordered salads and fish and grits. The third and final experience is today on New Year’s Day. Again, we made a reservation and again they were not prepared. This time the wait was only 15 min with a reservation. There were lots of tables open but clearly not enough staff. This place is a FRAUD!!! Priced and disguised as an upscale soul food restaurant with a 20% automatic gratuity for subpar service. Over priced classic dishes like $37 for pork chops or $37 for turkey wings! A la cart traditional soul food sides. Not to mention the over priced drinks! And for what? To listen to some R&B! There are no table limits so people sit at their table for hours, backing up the reservations. Unacceptable and a complete embarrassment for a black owned restaurant. Do better!!!
