Kaia is an Asian-Pacific-inspired restaurant specialising in healthy food, with poke bowls and mains from the grill served over the counter.

Brunch has landed at Kaia, every Saturday, 12-3pm. Indulge in a selection of starters and maki rolls, followed by a choice of main, finishing with a pudding selection to share. Brunch at Kaia is priced at £45 pp. Or go premium for £65 pp. Enjoy free-flowing Asian inspired seasonal cocktails as an add on for £20 pp.

Please be advised bookings cannot be made for drinks only. Expect counter seating. Pets, other than registered guide dogs are not permitted in public areas or restaurant at The Ned. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible, please be aware there may not be space at the table. If you would like to request a highchair or for further information, contact the restaurant directly. The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead or upon arrival.

We’ve been to this restaurant a few times and it’s always been wonderful so we wanted to spend New Year’s Eve here which sadly was disappointing. Food as always excellent. We had an early sitting of 330 as we had our 2 year old with us and was told by the waitress we needed to be finished by 5pm “as they were back to back with bookings” absolutely fine we said. 20 mins later still no one had been over to even take a drink order. So I went and asked someone. 25 mins in someone finally came over. Usually with this style of food it’s nice to graze and take your time but as we only had one hour we ordered everything to come at once. No one came over to ask how it was or if we needed anything and twice I had to find someone to order further drinks. Not even our table water was topped up. At the end of the meal they gave us a cake with a candle as this was a celebration dinner which was kind and all the staff were lovely just not attentive. Anyway I said to another waitress where can we have drinks and she said you can stay at your table until 6pm. Great we thought but why did we rush our food as we were told 5. We left at 6 and went to another bar opposite and at 7 we looked in the restaurant and still there was no one on our table or hardly any of the tables for that matter. This isn’t the service I would expect from the Ned and have left feeling extremely disappointed. We could of had much more of a relaxed New Year’s Eve if we wasn’t told we had to be out and if the waiters actually paid attention to us.

Amazing food! Felt like a real treat & although we were told at the start we only had the table for 1.5hours we weren’t actually rushed or moved on at that time.

Superb customer experience at booking - during and after the dining experience Food was very nicely presented and very tasty - bravo to the chef and team good job here

The food was excellent although on the expensive side plus a 14.5% service charge. Japanese menu including sushi, sashimi, robata, etc. There is also Poke. Dishes came out quickly but the overall service was on the slower despite the higher service charge and we had to ask for water refill at least a few times. The seating arrangements were quite weird with some guests on tables, some on counters in the next section and some on the sushi bar. Overall this is a good venue (The Ned) and the experience was more positive than negative.

First time at The Ned and this restaurant. Great service and great food, perfectly timed as well as we’d selected a mixture of foods to try. Ambience is amazing. Great festive atmosphere. Highly recommended.
