Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available.

Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables.

We have proudly replaced tipping with a 22% service fee in order to provide a base wage of $25 per hour and free healthcare for all employees. More information is available at kachkapdx.com/wage-equity

Von der OpenTable-Redaktion: Als dieses bahnbrechende Restaurant 2014 eröffnete, leitete es die kulinarische Renaissance Osteuropas ein und erntete Lob von Bon Appétit, Eater, GQ und anderen. Ein Jahrzehnt danach ist Bonnies und Israel Morales Hommage an ihre Heimat immer noch ein Hotspot für den berühmten Wodka mit Meerrettich, Zakuski-Snacks wie Kaviar und Rogen, sowie für das Kaninchen aus dem Römertopf. Das einladende, zweistöckige Restaurant ist mit farbenfrohen Postern und Tischtüchern aus Weißrussland geschmückt und ein Ort, an den man immer wieder gerne zurückkehrt.

Excellent fish, excellent vodka, excellent pickled foods. We were a party of 9 at 9:15pm on Valentine’s Day, it was a big ask and Kachka was nothing but accommodating. The service was lovely and all the food and drink, fantastic.

I always leave Kachka feeling like my trip was worth it! Last night was no exception. The flavors are always exciting and unique, but there is still an overarching theme of the food being very comforting. I also cannot compliment their vodka selection enough. We got a vodka flight, and every shot was delicious and surprising. The staff were very friendly and attentive, adding to the charm. PS: If you can go during happy hour, I recommend their little combo plate w/ the cabbage roll and borscht! See my photo.

The place was charming enough but the noise level especially in the corner we were in was terrible. Probably won’t go back.

In visiting for ongoing US/Canada salmon work, since 2017 when we discovered Kachka, we anticipate an evening there whenever we can - sadly , this usually amounts to only once a year. As always the warm, kitchen like experience with great food more than met our expectations - you have strong stronger Western Canadian fan club! Sue F and gang

The service was outstanding, as was the food. It was our first time, and we were really pleased. The menu is a bit complicated for a first-timer, but our server was able to explain, in detail, everything on the menu we asked about. He helped us decide what things to try and how to combine everything into a fantastic and varied meal. We'll be back with friends!

It was our second time here and we had another great experience! The food was delish and the vibes were relaxed but anything but boring. The service is also really outstanding.

We arrived a little early and were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He made suggestions and everything was wonderful. We had a great time and all the food was delish! We will definitely be back.

We had an incredible meal - the smallest tasters of the infused vodka was a fun way to get to sample the incredible variety. We loved the birch and horseradish! Food was phenomenal - delicious and well paced as dishes were brought out thoughtfully instead of all at once.
