Freuen Sie sich auf eine kreative, moderne Küche mit regionalen, von unseren Lieferanten sorgfältig ausgewählten Zutaten. Das Juniper erwartet Sie in der Innenstadt in schönem, gemütlichem Ambiente. Dazu tragen die rustikalen Ziegelsäulen bei, die von den einigen der neuesten und besten Künstlern Tulsas gestaltet wurden. Das Juniper wurde vom Inhaber und Küchenchef Justin Thompson geplant und gebaut. Einige der talentiertesten Köche Tulsas sorgen für ein angenehmes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Sie können neben der saisonalen Speisekarte auf ein 5-Gänge-Menü (zu einem festen Preis) nach Art des Hauses genießen. Dazu trinken Sie vom Sommerlier ausgesuchte, jeweils passende Weine. Ebenso können Sie die vielen wöchentlichen Vorschläge des Küchenchefs kosten oder an der schönen Bar delikate Speisen zu sich nehmen. Lassen Sie den Abend bei einem sorgfältig kreierten Cocktail ausklingen. Hierfür werden die vor Ort aufgegossenen Wodkas, Gins und aromatisierte Bitter verwendet.     I treat myself to dinner at Juniper pretty much every year for my birthday. This year my experience was overall very disappointing which is such an anomaly from years past. I was greeted with a happy birthday as usual while at the hostess stand and given my options for where I wanted to sit. Now, this is where my decision probably didn’t help the situation, however I am used to nothing but exceptional service every time I dine at Juniper so didn’t consider my choice to be an issue. As a single diner, I chose a two top in the bar area as to not take up valuable real estate better used by other diners on a Saturday night and it just happened to be tucked in the corner a bit. I was given water and a menu within 5 mins and was a little surprised I wasn’t given a small glass of bubbly wine as a birthday treat as I’ve gotten in years past, but I understand times change. As I sat and waited for my waiter/waitress to take my order, I saw everyone around me getting the exceptional service I was used to at this establishment and felt completely neglected. 25 mins after being sat I had finally ordered and an additional 15 mins after that I had my appetizer, but no wine that I had ordered. I went up to the bar and asked for it and the bartender was deeply apologetic and comped the wine which was very kind. The bartender eventually noticed I was in the bar area and from then on went out of his way to make sure the service was impeccable, but the first half of my dining experience kind of soured the whole night. Most of the food was spectacular as usual, I just wouldn’t recommend the market fish currently offered, the pistachio crusted halibut. It was overcooked and tasted like a $50 fish stick. I don’t know if it was just an off night because my experience was so different in years past, but this was a birthday dinner I wouldn’t mind forgetting.

    We booked through Open Table which advertised that the Holiday Tasting menu would be $70 per person. This price does not exist. The price is $85 per person without the wine pairing. It had the menu all laid out and we were very excited. The first course was lobster bisque. I liked it very creamy and full of flavor, my fiancé did not care for this at all, but that was personal preference. The second course was duck croquettes. I am an absolute lover of duck, but this just tasted like fried mashed potatoes to me. The third course was lobster & truffle agnolloti. This is absolutely wonderful but the lobster was overcooked and chewy. The fourth course was filet mingon with mashed potatoes, wilted spinach, and a seared onion. I was a fan of the course, the demi was very flavorful. The wilted spinach was a pure salt bomb, inedible and my fiances steak was a thicker cut so the missed the medium rare and hit rare, really rare in fact, head on. The fifth and final course was the chocolate tart. This was a described as a tart crust with pistachio praline, chocolate ganache, and cardamom whipped cream. Everything was as described except this addition of a citrus ginger tasting sauce that was drizzled over the top. This sauce on top of a ganache that was horribly bitter is disgusting. Bryce our waiter was a delight and the young fashioned cocktail was very tasty. Over all with being over charged and a disappointing food experience we are definitely going to try and find a new favorite restaurant. Over $200 for a meal with most of it left on the table, no thank you.

    Our server/bartender was Chris. He was awesome, and a large part of why our meal was so good. We had the 5 course menu. Oh my, it was more than we had hoped for. Thank you so much for a wonderful night.

    Food was not up to the price. Service was also ok, but again for the money and size of the restaurant we expected more attention. Only got 2 menus for a 5 top. ??

    We had a wonderful pre-theater dinner at Juniper. Our food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely return in the future.

    Great downtown find, the whipped goat cheese app was amazing. The also have a good old world wine selection. The beef stroganoff came with a perfectly cooked filet on top of the noodles in stroganoff sauce.

    What a great spot in downtown Tulsa! We were in town for the weekend to see Zack Bryan and found this wonderful restaurant nearby. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the ambiance was great. Next time we’re in Tulsa, we’ll be sure to come back.
