   Wir haben in Denver auf dem Weg zum Skiurlaub Weihnachten verbracht und haben Jovanina’s gefunden. Das essen war wie in Italien. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise Platte, eine Pizza und eine Flasche primitivo. Perfekt für den Abend und eine schöne Atmosphäre. Preis-Leistung für Denver 👍🏼

   Food & ambience was great, the waiter on the other hand was very rude. When I asked him for suggestions, he told me to “order my own food.” Not once during our stay did he ask how our meal was or even offer a refill on our drinks.

   Once again Jovanina’s hit it out of the park!!! We tried things we loved ( the old fashion and Elk Bolognese) and a few things new. The Focaccia bread and rainbows carrots as starters are a must!! Both so good for such different reasons. The bread is such a perfect starter, you can taste how homemade it is and the carrots are an explosion of so many different flavors. We got the Elk and the short rip as our entrees, and if you have not tried the Elk Bolognese, you have not lived!! It’s just so perfect each and every time you will not be disappointed. We tried the short rib and also, AMAZING! They give you a steak knife and I am not sure why, it just falls off the bone at the slightest touch, and the balsamic that it sits upon is beautifully aged. We tried the Gelato and Sorbetti for desert, the flavors of both were fantastic, one was a raspberry lemonade and not sure the other, on their Owen they were great, we just were not sure why they were paired together so trying to enjoy both was interesting, but alas, both good, Our server was… fine, friendly and pleasant, but not very attentive. Drinks took awhile and we wanted to know what the desert was, but by the time they came around, we were done and didn’t care. Overall, we cannot recommend this place enough! You can’t go wrong with anything here! It’s a MUST when your downtown.

    Wonderfully presented and leisurely 3-hour dinner. Meals were all excellent and interesting…we sampled from all parts of the menu. Service by Rio was outstanding.
