I had an excellent experience, as always. However, our waiter seemed a bit disoriented, and at the end of the meal, the machine encountered an error while processing my payment, ultimately charging me twice. When I brought this to the waiter’s attention, instead of apologizing, he became defensive. I understand it wasn’t his fault, but it was the restaurant’s responsibility to ensure that the payment system was functioning properly. My friend, who joined me for the evening, faced the same issue and was forced to pay in cash, which was not her initial plan. Despite this inconvenience, my dinner was absolutely wonderful, and I sincerely appreciate Joni Restaurant for the beautiful flowers—it was a very thoughtful gesture.

Had a wonderful brunch at Joni Restaurant! The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the live music created a lovely atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly. A perfect spot for a relaxing weekend brunch—highly recommend!

The restaurant has such a good vibe and the food was AMAZING. We did the chef’s tasting menu and you could tell how excited he was about the dishes. Would definitely recommend for a date night out. Also I don’t know the musicians name that was playing piano and singing but her voice was incredible.

Amazing food, ambience and service. Love the dim lights and relaxing live music. We sat by the fireplace that gave an amazing view of the whole room. The vibes are really cozy. Combine that with the amazing food we had as part of the Chef’s tasting menu, and you have got yourself an addictive combination.

It was fantastic! Definitely wil do this again. There was live music in the background. We went upstairs to have a drink afterwards.

Service was quite terrible the server never checked on us not even quality check we also had to look for him to get our bill.

Everything was great , it is a great restaurant they had a pianist playing . The dessert was absolutely amazing.

The worst eggs benedict i’ve had in toronto. The bacon slices were as thick as the muffin itself. The quiche was horrible too. It tasted like scrambled eggs

After visiting the 17 th floor Writers Room for dinner i decided to join Joni’s for an additional dink at the fabulous bar. I noticed a new face. At Joni’s the turnover is rare. Her name is EMMA. I ordered a fabulous Peroni beer. Emma I found very welcoming, friendly, and very professional. Her conversational skills are very engaging which led me to enjoy a perfect Japanese whiskey. The standards are very high at Joni’s and I feel Emma is a perfect fit for Joni. I am a regular here. It will be my pleasure to return and to be served by her and also the wonderful team Joni. Thank you Joni for another wonderful evening, All my visits exceed the previous ones. Don Burrell
