Our server Adam made it a great night he was friendly and made lots of great suggestions which helped us with making a decision on what to eat thank you, Adam for making our night. Great server with a great smile.

The food was delicious as it always is, but the service at the very beginning was lacking… we had been seated for 20 minutes without anyone coming by. We had to get up and look for someone to place our drinks and food order. Ultimately, the server that was assigned to us was really good and responsive, but we did have to *ask* for someone to help us. Again, the food was good but in my mind there is a baseline standard of service when dining out (I.e. to be recognized by a server and to be asked for an order unsolicited). This is the second time that we had this exact experience at Joey - where we had to get up to ask someone to take our order. If you value service as part of your dining experience, this may not be the restaurant for you.

My reservation was for 6:30. We sat down and a server didn’t come over to us until 6:50 (I had to flag her down). We ordered drinks and I didn’t get my bottle of wine until 7:15 (again I had to flag someone down about it at 7 and it took another 15 minutes). Service was extremely slow, no apology or heads up from the server or offer to comp anything. Will never go back.

Food and service was fine, until the end. Ordered a coffee(but not really just an ordinary cup of coffee an americano, which is fine). Asked for milk and sugar. No sugar in the entire restaurant, only Splenda (shocked the restaurant didn’t even go to a grocery store to get sugar) And NO coffee spoon, brought a straw!!! Really should have sent it back, but was sad that the restaurant didn’t even comp the coffee. Just sad.

I had a great time with my friend at Joey Yorkdale. We had excellent service and conversation with the staff. The blackened chicken is my favourite dish and it was cooked to perfection at this location. The manager was so attentive. Our server was great. Great time!

We normally have a very positive experience, but today both the food and service fell short. The tuna poke bowl was over sauced, the truffle fries were lukewarm warm and our we barely saw our server.

My favourite restaurant by far. Food is always delicious! Great variety on menu. Excellent value. Great service. So impressed with today’s manager who came by twice to check on us! This speaks volumes about the leadership. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
