   We had high hopes for Jazmín’s in Cabo, but left disappointed. While the décor is beautiful and the chips and guacamole were enjoyable, the overall experience lacked care and attention—especially when it came to customer service. We were recommended the Mexican combo plate, which included a sope, crispy rolled chicken tacos, a chile relleno, and carne asada. Unfortunately, nothing was good. The entire combo came served on a cast iron griddle plate, which continued to cook the food and compromised the quality. The tacos were not crispy, the sope was unremarkable, and the chile relleno arrived with the sauce dried out and the bottom burned black from sitting too long. I ordered the carne asada tampiqueña and was told to get it medium. Unfortunately, it continued cooking on the hot griddle plate until it was well-done and overly chewy. When we expressed our concerns, our waiter—who was very attentive—did his best to help by relaying our feedback to the manager. However, the English-speaking manager never came to our table. It felt like there was no genuine effort by management to address the issue or take accountability for our experience. This restaurant clearly caters to one-time tourists, not repeat customers. Aside from the kind effort by our server, the experience lacked any real sense of hospitality or accountability. Disappointing overall.

   Saw a picture of chicken mole on one of the website showing the restaurant’s menu. Thought it was their direct site, but could have been Yelp or something else. Was excited! Got to the restaurant and no chicken mole on the menu. They had a short rib mole which was good, but had my heart was set on the chicken. Might be time to look at their menu posted through various other means and clean them up!

   Worth the trip if you’re near SJDC. Very good quality food, nice service, pleasant experience. Couples or family works.

   The reviews for Jazmin's were good so we decided to give it a try. We wanted to try a few items so we shared the Lobster Ceviche, Tacos Al Pastor and the Berry Salad. They were all excellent, everything was very fresh and delicious. The complientary tortilla chips with 4 salsas was a lovely start. Our server Ricardo was great, very friendly and professional. Jazmin's did not disappoint, we will definitely return.

   This place is loaded with charm and character! The inside/outside cobbled together layout of the different spaces is so interesting… decorated with plants, textiles, colourful murals, ceramic tiles, and baubles. The food was good too! House-made salsas, interesting flavour dimensions, and generous portions.  It is located down in the bustling, beautiful art district. There is seating along the street for good people watching, but it’s the inside areas that we recommend. It is not accessible, so be ready for a couple of stairs and walking through a web of closely placed tables and chairs.  Oh, and there was an assortment of live must on Saturday night; when we arrived, there was a wandering mariachi band and then the evening closed with an incredibly talented male soprano.

   Some of the greatest authentic Mexican food in all of Cabo and the atmosphere is incredible. Live music is amazing.
