   Food was excellent as usual. Menu options are great fun and interesting to explore. Servings are sufficient to share. Can't recommend Jaleo highly enough. Oh yes, staff very attentive.

   The cod fritters were outstanding but everything else was so-so. The wine we ordered was corked but they took it back without issue, the temperature of the dishes was off - hot dishes were not hot. The worst part of the evening was they did not return the credit card used to pay the bill. It was my fault for not noticing at the time but I realised as soon as I got to my car. I went back immediately to the restaurant but they said they did not have it and suggested it might have fallen on the floor at the table where I was sitting. They said they would check when the current diners were done and would call me back, They never called back so I had to cancel my card which was a pain as I use it all the time. On top of that, the card WAS used IN THE RESTAURANT after I paid so it was definitely stolen by someone who works at the restaurant. Be warned everyone,

   Great food at a reasonable price point. Service was good, food came out quickly but spread out. Never felt rushed. Ambiance was nice, loud but not obnoxious. Would 100% recommend for almost any occasion.

   I am a big fan of Chef José Andrés, so it was another pleasure to dine at Jaleo. The tapas were amazing and very tasty. The cocktails were also creative, it was nice different experience. The desserts were the happy ending of the evening. I want to thank Galileo R, our server was incredibly helpful and made recommendations based on our requests. He is well trained and very gentle.

   Loved Jaleo. We dined with our preschooler and the staff did an amazing job to make us feel welcome. Food was delicious, kiddo did great. Fabulous family evening!

   Where do you go to eat at 4 on a Sunday afternoon, after a short matinee at the Shakespeare Theater? Jaleo is still the right answer. As always, tapas is reliably good and just the right amount of food for an early "supper." Lots of great food to share among the 5 of us. Don't skip over the vegetables - eggplant, piquilla peppers, cauliflower, and of course, potatoes bravos, all delicious. Only regret - we'd had more than enough to eat before we'd tasted more than a small sample of everything on the menu.

    This is my 3 time in Jaleo DC. This time we went to celebrate my wife and sons bday. Service was attentive and welcoming, but the only reason I gave 4 starts is bc they forgot my wife's bday, no candle, no happy bday.... Food wise, very disappointed compared to our previous visits. The potato omelet was very raw and no flavor, the steak overcooked on both extremes and lack of flavor, apart from the fact that it was a very tiny little piece. The pulpo was ok, croquetas as well. The only good dish was the rabbit that my son loved it.
