                                              Overall, not that great of an experience. We felt pushed into bottles of water we never ordered , no bread service available, server must have called me “ma’am “ at least 10 times, food portions were small, sides are extra. Felt very much like a tourist trap type place we generally try to avoid .

                                              We dined for the first time here. We were greeted with a warm & inviting ambiance. I was tempted by the flights of bourbon for $26, but it wS a waste of money as my palate is not sensitive enough to discern much of a difference from these small batch bourbons. As for food, I stated with the Fennel & Pear salad followed by the Fettuccini Nero. Both were delicious, but the serving sizes were a bit on the small side. My Wife (who is not a big eater) enjoyed the Tenderloin Carpaccio followed by the Crispy Oysters. We skipped dessert. Everything was a la carte, so it added up pretty fast. Since it was our anniversary, The total cost did not bother me, but this is not a restaurant to frequent except on a special occasion.

                                              My recent experience at Jack Rose was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the food was very good and our server provided excellent service. However, the management's decisions regarding seating left much to be desired. We were placed in a smaller dining room instead of the main dining area, which was about 75% empty. Just 15 minutes after we were seated, a large party of 14 was brought in and seated next to us. It was evident that the restaurant knew this was going to happen, as the table for the large party was already prepared. The noise from this group was so overwhelming that my wife and I had to stop our conversation because we couldn't hear each other. This conscious decision to seat us in a smaller room next to what they knew would be a loud group, rather than in the larger, emptier dining room, showed poor customer care by the management. Despite the good food and great service from our server, this experience has left us with no desire to return.

                                              Visited this gem while in NOLA for NYE and I’m glad I did. The service was everything. I can’t remember my servers name but she checked on me consistently and was so sweet and nice. They had a 4-course meal available for the you to make your selection from. I had the lamb sausage (1st course), Duck gumbo (2nd course), and Trout w/ potatoes and corn (3rd course). The lamb was so tender, the duck gumbo was spicy yet delicious, and the trout (chefs kiss). I did not have anymore room for dessert. I also ordered two Main Squeeze drinks (fruity but strong). Everything was beautiful and it was a great place for a couple of solo date night. I really enjoyed my experience I will definitely return!

                                              The food was delicious and service was amazing. However, the booth + seat tables for two are two large and too far apart to have a decent conversation with the amount of noise.

                                              First timers but definitely felt like finding a hidden gem. Amazing service and the food was outstanding. Best brunch in a very long time. Aesthetically beautiful from lobby to dining area. Five stars to service!! Definitely a brunch-must.
