    The restaurant is absolutely stunning! Our food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience, I can’t find any fault with this place.

    Food was nice price of food was reasonable the table was really nice and the ivy itself was great the prices of the drinks was a bit over the top really but overall had a nice night would I go back probably would but would I be rushing to go back probably not overall 7/10

    Disappointing to arrive on time for a 7pm reservation and then have to wait for 15 minutes in the bar area for a table. Food was good overall but haloumi starter was very average.

    Having visited the ivy before was slightly disappointed by the afternoon tea experience The food was ok but not great the cakes were not as described on the menu and the service wasn’t great the waitress was extremely inattentive which is not what we’ve experienced here before and to be honest with the price expected more . When it was brought over to us the waitress informed us That the flower pot usually had dry ice but it wasn’t working properly for some reason , then shrugged and rushed off . It shouldn’t have been sent over like that then ! The table we were sat at was far to small and we struggled to actually eat comfortably considering it was an afternoon tea experience my daughter had treated me to it wasn’t great . It would actually put me off returning again and I wouldn’t recommend the afternoon tea .. Iv visited other places in Liverpool that do it far better

    I brought my uni friends here and they all enjoyed the food and the experience. It was lovely, nice destination h area and plenty of room. The waitress was very attentive and we had a very enjoyable lunch.

    We were so disappointed with afternoon tea at the Ivy. There were three of us and you would expect to get the same number and choice of cakes / sandwiches ect. There were two fruit scones which were actually the best part of the experience but I had to share one. There was also four very small plain scones that were not great. The rest of the food was bland and the bread was slightly stale. Fillings not particularly nice. The restaurant inself was stunning but music was really loud. The manager offered us a free drink which we declined but got anyway which was ok but can't understand why a restaurant of this class can't get an afternoon tea right. Also waited an hour for it to arrive.
