We had a great dinner at House 157. Great food. We have the lamb chops and also the Ox tails that were so good and tender. Definitely recommend.

Everything was great, the server was awesome, the setting was awesome, the noise became a little too much making it hard to talk with my date after 8pm. The food was great, but a little pricey for the portion you received. I would reccomend this place for others and it was a nice date spot, just please turn the music down a bit so we can talk :)

The waiter was extremely helpful and resourceful. I love the wings especially. The food choices were plentiful and tasteful. I will definitely come back to experience the dinner which has more choices.

I recently dined at House 157 and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we were seated, the service was lackluster, with the waitstaff being largely unreachable and our server missing multiple times when we simply needed a water pitcher refilled. This set a frustrating tone for the evening. However, what truly soured the experience was the discovery of an additional tip charge on my bill, which I did not authorize. When I brought this issue to the attention of the management, they insisted that the additional tip policy is stated on OpenTable and their website. After carefully reviewing both, I found no mention of such a policy. This is not only misleading but also an illegal practice that leaves a bad taste in customers' mouths. I strongly advise potential patrons to be cautious and scrutinize their bills carefully if they choose to dine here. Such deceptive practices are unacceptable, and I will not be returning to House 157. There are plenty of other establishments that respect their customers and operate with integrity. Save yourself the headache and choose one of those instead. To make matters worse, when the restaurant called me back, they maintained their stance, claiming they have the right to impose such charges despite my objections about the lack of disclosure and legality. The management was unapologetic and unhelpful, offering no resolution or assistance.

Amazing! I dined with a party of 7, although we reserved for 8 it was no problem seating us. We sat upstairs where it was a little tight space but you surely forget that when the water is distrubuted as soon as you are seated. Chandler welcomed us almost immediately as our server for the night and apologize for any delay throughout the night because it was just two servers on a busy X-Mas eve night. My partner and I had the Grilled Beef Kabab with the Honey Jerk wings for the starters and it was amazing. The presentation on the kebab was exuberant with the blue fire still managing to engulf the bell peppers and kebab. The wings had a kick but not too spicy, just the way I liked. For our entree we had the lamb chop with jollof and sweet plantains and the Jaimacan chicken and shrimp with sweet plantains. Both dishes were amazing. Chandler stood out by checking on us and bringing my girlfriend and our other guest who were celebrating birthdays together, both cheese cake on the house. Gratuity included makes sense for an establishment like this. They deserve the Gratuity. Being that my lady and I have been here multiple times, Chandler has always managed to be our server each time and remembers us everytime. We look forward to coming back each and every time because of the food and the service. Finally, for drinks, my Lady had the Beach party and I had the Brazilian Kiss. The Brazilian Kiss was soo good, I order more for the table. Overall, amazing experience 4.5 Stars

Nice vibes, good food options/deals. DJ is onsite for brunch, so it is a little loud.

We had a good time celebrating my daughter's 20th birthday. I think the servers were overwhelmed. Need more wait staff. We waited a long time for our mimosas that we paid $20 x5 person. Also, they brought my daughter a birthday dessert but they didn't sing to her unlike they did for someone sitting a table near us so we did.

In the 2 yrrs I have been going there I never had an issue. The food and service is superb. Prices are understandable, I don't mind paying for excellent food and service.
