    Absolutely horrible . The best thing about this place was the adorable sweet hostesses! The outside appeal was horrible so that should’ve told us all we needed to know. We experienced a long wait time at a restaurant before hand and this restaurant popped up nearby so we decided to take the reservation on OpenTable for nine at 7:30. Once we arrived, they did not indeed have a table available for us upon arrival so we had to wait a little over a half hour for another party to finish up before we could be seated. The indoor decor is literally horrible. I can’t even explain the very outdated and lime, green and orange walls. We were told we were gonna be seated in a private room with a fireplace when we got there it was literally the smallest room with an ancient electric fireplace hanging on the wall… we all started to laugh. The table was so wobbly we had to tear apart our coasters and play some underneath. We finally ordered drinks and my margarita tasted like strawberry syrup so I did not get another one. My old fashion was because they use those huge ice cubes and typical sugar cube like they typically use ! We proceeded to order appetizers we ordered the fried cheese and spicy avocado rolls and they were horrible lol the fried cheese wasn’t that bad but the dips to go with them were horrible and the spicy avocados were disgusting because the guacamole inside was hot so if you can imagine, warm, guacamole… So we didn’t eat those i’ll ordered our meals and long story short everybody’s meals for pretty bad. Our kids ordered chicken tenders and they came out and they were ginormous… My friend steak was literally the size of a puck resembled one also because it was overcooked… I’m just gonna say it was an awful experience and we will absolutely never be back and I don’t know how it’s open….

    I had an amazing dining experience at Houlihan’s! I ordered the fish and chips, and it was absolutely perfect—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But what truly made our visit special was our waitress, Luz. She was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her exceptional service added to an already great meal. I highly recommend Houlihan’s and will definitely be back. Five stars all the way!

    The table wasn’t ready when it was promised by the app by nearly half an hour. Odd interactions with the hostess and manager. Something was off with the order and the dessert. Manager comped part of the meal but we experienced too many uncomfortable moments to want to go back. Server tried really hard to overcome the mess ups.

    Usually we have really good meals, last night our party ordered steak meals, they were not cooked to temperature we requested (well came out rare) and the prime rib had good flavor but was COLD. Server spilled half of a drink on the floor, never cleaned up the spill or offered to give her a little more of the drink she ordered.

    It's Westlake's version of Cheers! Food is always good, love the feel of the place, quiet, warm setting. And, we love when we have Alicia as our server. She's the best, always pleasant and a joy to talk with.

    My husband and I always enjoy our dinners at the Houlihans in Westlake Ohio. The staff is very friendly and always make sure we are happy with the food and service. Wonderful French Onion soup on a cold winter night. They have a great bottle of Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon. And we had a piece of Salted Caramel butter cake for dessert-delish!
