   Customer service is top tier without being stuffy. Food is great and comes out quickly. Lots of good beers on tap, as well as good cocktails.

   Great location in downtown Grand Rapids. Server was very good. Food and drinks were excellent as well.

   UPDATE: The manager reached out to me right away and wanted to make it right. Very impressed about his concern for a good experience!! Will be trying the meal again :) First time dining here. Enjoyed the atmosphere and we had good waitress. Food out was a little slow, but the biggest downside was my dinner. I got the new Mushroom Tofu bowl. It was mostly brown rice and really dry. I had 6 mushrooms on it and about only a couple of inchlong shreds of slaw! There were also few onions and then the tofu pieces. VERY underwhelming.

   We had a reservation for eight and were seated when we arrived. Service and food were great!

   It was a busy night at the restaurant but that did not affect the service, food or cocktails from being great.

   The fries were fantastic, but that was all. Everything thing else we had a really not great. The location is good and easy to get to but I will probably not be back.

   This was our 1st visit to a Hop Cat and knew it was going to be loud. That would be the only negative I felt we need to mention, but overall we loved the place. Food was great, our server, Julia, was great. Everyone must try the Fries! Great beer selections, too! My husband had the Chicken Bowl and I had the Steak quesadillas and they were both very good. We will definitely go back.

   Our food was excellent and their choices of draft beer were spectacular. We will definitely be back.

   Service was good, food was ok but did not wow any of us. The Mac and cheese lacked any flavor and the sauce was super thin. Drinks were good, overall a decent dinner during the busy holiday season, but not noteworthy in anyway.

    We had a reservation. We were running late and they held the table. We ordered drinks and water. Waited 35 minutes for water and drinks. Even after asking just for water while we wait for the drinks.. waitress was very nice. Overall the service was lacking.
