   Excellent Sunday. Simple, stylish interior, very good service. Food was delicious. Wish you were closer to our home.

   Excellent food experienced across the taster menu. We chose not to accompany with the drinks selection, but HOLM have a good drinks menu to choose from. The restaurant has a great vibe with a relaxed feel and well chosen playlist assuring the feel in the background. Tables a quite closely placed for pairs dining, but not overly intrusive. The food we had was delicious and I couldn’t fault a single dish. As expected the food is well presented and the short introduction provided by the chefs and waiting team is welcomed. I would highly recommend HOLM for any occasion; the only reason for not giving 5 stars was the delay in table service at times (refreshing drinks and plate clearing). It was a busy sitting but an extra pair of hands would have helped. However, the food was excellent and the staff very polite, we will definitely be returning to HOLM.

   Had the fixed price lunch menu, Beetroot starter, cod main, onion tart main and panna cotta dessert. Absolutely delicious!!! And if you have never had Shrub, it’s a fabulous non alcoholic drink. Absolutely faultless!!

   Fantastic lunch again today. Great food, great staff. A really nice vibe at this restaurant. Relaxed and chilled, not stuffy.

   Four of us had a delightful lunch at Holm yesterday. The set menu gave us plenty of choice, all our meals absolutely delicious. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant which was fully booked. The staff friendly & efficient. Terrific value for the quality of food on our plates. We are so lucky to have Holm on our doorstep. Well done Nicholas.

   We had high expectations for this restaurant, and at first, it seemed like they would be met. The starter was absolutely perfect—delicious, well-executed, and exactly what we had hoped for. Unfortunately, the main courses were a huge disappointment. My dish was an onion tart that was as simple as it gets, served with a handful of lettuce leaves that were completely dry, bitter, and unseasoned. They felt like an afterthought and had no real place on the plate. My partner’s dish wasn’t better—a portion of cod so thin that if they had sliced it any finer, it would have been a sashimi. And for this tiny, unimpressive piece of fish, we were charged an extra £5 supplement, which felt completely unjustified. By the time we finished our mains, we had no interest in staying for dessert—we simply didn’t want to be disappointed any further. A very underwhelming experience, especially considering how strong the meal started.

   Another great experience at Holm. We took friends who had never been before and they will be returning. Service was stunning too.....just the right degree of friendliness without being overwhelming. Lunch menu is great value for such good quality food.

    We had Sunday lunch, 2 courses main and dessert. Really hit the spot and met expectations, which were high. I had the beef, which was the best I’ve had in a long time. Great vibe and great service.
