    This was our first time here. My daughter chose this for her Birthday dinner and it was great! Service was good the food was good. Overall, a great experience.

    The food was great, service was just ok. The waiter was not very attentive, we had a dirty wine glass, water wasn't refilled, and he forgot part of the order.

    Overall, it was a nice Valentine’s Day dinner with friends. A little noisy. Good, but not spectacular. Still, would consider returning.

    We visit here on special occasions and we are never disappointed with the service or the food. Our favorite go to is the chicken dinner. Best in the midwest!

    It is always a special evening when we have a meal at Hollyhock Hill. The food is absolutely delicious and the chicken dinner (our favorite) is plentiful. The best in town. We have every anniversary and every birthday here. I proposed to my wife here have not missed an anniversary since. Wonderful people, wonderful food and reasonable prices. Love it!

    Holly Hock Hill wasn't what it used to be. Atmosphere was lower class. Potatoes weren't as good as they used to be. Need more cream - less water in them. Service was good. The price was about $9 more than the last time we were there and the experience just didn't meet the increase in price. We won't go there again.

    Unequivocally it was the worst restaurant experience we have ever experienced. We have been a customer of Hollyhock for over 30 years. Never, ever has it been as bad as it was last night. Overpriced, the chicken was undercooked, the portions were half the size of what we expected, the service (if you can call it that) was miserable - not only did the server not clear the table, but did not refill water, Coke, iced tea glasses even once, the biscuits were stale and overcooked. It was terrible from the minute we sat down. It even took 10 minutes to get Sweet and Low for iced team, the ice had melted before the server came back. Maybe this could happen in a full restaurant - there were about 3 table with customers. Bottom line. Shameful and if I was the owner, I'd close up the restaurant. They have taken a great restaurant and turned it into a joke. Connie and Joe Newman
