   We love Henry’s!! Drinks, apps, and entrees were amazing (per usual!) Highly recommend the Hurricane (drink), scallops with fried spinach (app), and the Bayou cakes (loaded with crab meat - entree)!

   Shrimp and Grits. Tooo thick on the grits and toooo much cheese. and Yes there is such a thing as to much cheese. Look, this dish should have been a little "soupier" not runny but not a block of hardened cheese. Etouffee: Crawfish and shrimp.. The flavor was good but the pieces of the protein were to small. I understand crawfish tails are not large, but the shrimp pieces were cut into tiny chunks. As a chef when i make it, i may cut the shrimp in half but not little chunks. GOOD THINGS: The cream Brule was amazing. The drinks were adequate. All of the fried dishes were tasty and they do serve large portions. I will go back, but order a different entre to see how it goes. The place its self was awesome.

   Update: The restaurant has since issued an apology and has invited me back for another try replete with a gift certificate. I am appreciative for Casey’s conscientious concern and gracious apology. Just will chalk this up to a busy night with a reminder to all that people, particularly paying customers, matter and should always be treated as guests of the house. Updated review. I was happy to take my guests to enjoy Fat Tuesday. We had a delightful evening up until the end. As soon as I paid the bill, I was told we had to leave. People were hovering over our table even though there were multiple empty tables around us. Had we been there an excessive amount of time or had we been told that other guests would be arriving soon, I could have accepted that it was a busy night and would have understood the need to be accommodating of others. Our waitress did an excellent job. She was prompt and courteous. She even apologized that she was being required to ask us to leave. I spent good money and did not feel appreciated or welcomed as a customer. I was embarrassed for my guests. Lesson learned. I will never return to this establishment again. If you want to be served a cup of rudeness, enjoy.

   Perfect place for a Mardi Gras dinner. As usual, food and service were excellent. Complimentary king cake was a nice touch to end the meal. Only downside is noise level. Crying babies, large crowd and old building without much in the way of sound insulation makes it difficult to carry on a conversation.

   I made a last minute reservation for Fat Tuesday - to enjoy a little Louisiana Mardi Gras related flair. I was quickly accommodated, and the experience did not disappoint. I was pleased with the Cajun Sampler - 3 signature appetizers, and my server, Malcolm was awesome. Looking forward to a return visit sometime soon.
