Service was a little confusing. A salad did not come, bread and butter was asked for twice, when I asked for an ice water I was given a side of ice.

Our meal here was wonderful- everything was delicious from drinks to appetizers, mains, and dessert. The fromage plate was a favorite of everyone at the table. Even better- the VIEWS- simply stunning!

Went for my birthday Had a great experience from beginning to end The lemon meringue tart was delicious The server was present but not pushy Dinner and salad were excellent We will be back !!

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing Thanks giving dinner. We invited to guests to join us so the prime rib, scallops and Turkey plate were all ordered. The prime rib and scallops were acceptable but overall we all agreed the food was over salted. The green salad was good and the pumpkin soup as well. One guest ordered the starter with crab and liked that. What deducted stars from our experience was the turkey plate. The turkey resembled a processed turkey roll. It was over salted and seemed to be flavorless white meat only. What was suppose to be stuffing was a compressed block of dry bread with a hint of sage. The plating was very unattractive in general. The mashed potatoes were like a gruel. It was called a puree and our table felt like it was an unappealing way to prepare potatoes. The Brussel sprouts were nicely prepared but too salty. As for desserts the crostatas were good and the chocolate with pumpkin cream was enjoyed. I don’t think we’ll have Thanksgiving dinner there again. For $175 per person we expecting better. The breakfasts at Hilltop are lovely.

It was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The food was not hot and after returning it to the kitchen it came back not much improved temperature wise. Service was very slow and after ordering a nice Cabernet franc, we were given incorrect wine glasses for white wines and not the proper glasses for the red wine we ordered. This is something that should not have happened in the heart of wine country. Although they comped one of the meals it was still an expensive experience that should not have been. Needless to say, we will never return to the Montage resort.

A great experience. Tomahawk was superb. We ordered too many starters. Would have been nice if we were alerted that it maybe too many items for 2 people if you’re also ordering the tomahawk. First time experience, many times you rely on the waiter to advise on portion size. $540 for 2 people. Not so bad. I’d go again, next time may end up spending the same amount including my 2 kids.

The service from Grace and Riley was exceptional and friendly. The food was spectacular.
