Our owner, Chef Richard Hales a four generation Tampa family since 1954, is back in his hometown of Tampa after 25 years away mastering Asian cuisine, opening award winning restaurants and appearing on the Food Network; beloved by the likes of Guy Fieri. Our seasonal menu features Asian techniques using the fi nest ingredients and availability of locally sourced produces. Chef Hales’ invites you to experience eclectic ambiance, elevated service and his version of Chinese cuisine.

Top notch food and service! The General Manager personally check on us to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back.

It was amazing food was amazing and the service was great. Really loved the tiger shrimp but the server did take a while to get back to us between courses.

Really great dinning experience. Terific service and staff. Food was phenomenal. We had the cauliflower, the mushroom noodles and the pork belly. I would 100% recommend the cauliflower and will be back for it again!

Amazing! Everything we ordered was super delicious! Pork belly, lamb and cumin dumplings, truffle fried rice, Dan Dan noodles and the short ribs. Everything was hot, very fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back! Service was also superb. Manager visited our table and was very friendly. Our compliments to the chef and staff at Hales Blackbrick!!!

This is hands down the most complete restaurant in the Tampa Area. It is difficult to find the words to describe this dining experience….the food, service, ambience, music, bar drinks all melt together perfectly to create a perfect dining experience. All elements are 5 star but they humbly execute as if they have something to prove to their customers and you feel their appreciation for you through each of the elements that make up this amazing restaurant!

I absolute love Hales and Richard and Jenny’s hospitality. It’s bar none! My girlfriend and I spent Valentine’s Day with Hales and it’s always an extraordinary experience from the insanely delicious food to the staff!

This was such a wonderful experience on Valentines Day! The entire staff from receptionist to servers were so pleasant and knowledgeable. They were able to suggest great wine and give detailed descriptions of the menu items. The atmosphere was lively but intimate at the same time. Not inexpensive but worth every penny! I can't wait for my next trip to Tampa to eat there again.
