Habaneros has been a local favorite for the last 16 years featuring Mexican fusion cuisine designed by renowned Chef Tadd Chapman After 16 years serving San Jose del Cabo in Plaza Mission we are excited and grateful for our new beginning and opportunity in the beautiful courtyard of El Encanto Inn and Suites. We are locals and frequent Habaneros, We love the location, the ambiance and the food and drinks. There was one hiccup and it wasnt a complaint just annoying when the waiter came up as we were departing to ask me to rate him on social media. I told him no thanks, we dont have time. I think that it is too much to ask to be put on the spot to give approval when waiter wasnt wonderful, he was just ok.... but it wont stop us from returning, we love Habaneros.

Our second visit continued to delight! A cordial greeting, (a necessary spray of Off), a somewhat secluded table, an ‘America’s Got Talent’ caliber, Carlos Santana-performing musical trio, roasted Caesar salad and a VERY TASTY surf ‘n turf for two was worthy of a to-go box! Oh yea, the Cadillac Margaritas are worthy to boot!! We can’t wait to return next trip to Cabo…

The meal was excellent! Food was delicious and service very attentive. The musicians were very good especially the guitarist. Couldn’t be better we would go back no question

Fantastic ambiance and food! Very lively and loud atmosphere. Perfect place to go after enjoying the Thursday art walk. Would go back for sure.

Outstanding! The ambiance was incredible with a gorgeous old church in the courtyard, lighting, and joyful musicians. Daniel was our waiter and his service was impeccable. The food was delicious— I could eat the risotto every night. We will be back!

One main course was served with the appetizer. It was taken back to the kitchen and served with the second main course. It was not remade nor was it kept warm. Served cold! The waiter lied about keeping it hot. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Used to be one of our favorites especially on Art Walk Thursdays. Tonight was Halloween so understandably they were very busy. Took a long time to get any staff attention during entire time at the restaurant. Over an hour to get dinner to our table. Catch of the day came out cold and once notified staff, came out cold again but was so hungry it didn’t matter. Bill came out at the end of the dinner - server had charged us TWICE for almost all of our items. If I hadn’t looked at the itemized bill, I would’ve paid double the cost. Very sad as this has been a staple of our time in Cabo/San Jose for almost a decade.
