   The waiter dropped off plates of food without saying a word—no greeting, no explanation of what each item was, just walked away. It was confusing and honestly a bit uncomfortable not knowing what we were about to eat or how to pair things. A simple “this is beef, this is pork, these are your dipping sauces” would’ve made a big difference. The concept is fun and has a lot of potential, but I think the restaurant needs to improve how they communicate with guests, especially those who are new to this style of dining. It’s hard to enjoy an experience when you feel unsure and left out of the process.

   I expected more pleasant Japanese music, and while overall, our experience was good, my spicy tuna sushi was overcooked.

   The quality of the meats were okay but side dishes were not available until the end of the meal. The value of the meal was not worth the price. I was disappointed with the meals.

   Always a fun experience! We love grilling our own meat and veggies. The salmon in miso butter is delicious.

   We went for the Dine-Out Boston dinner special which includes appetizers (salad, miso soup, sushi and one we pick), a BBQ set of meats/shrimp and a vegetable to grill, rice and dessert. We expected the food items to come in that order. However, instead of getting our appetizers the waitstaff kept bringing the items to grill and no explanation of what each one was. We had to ask our waiter to take them all away until after we got our appetizers. After that confusion was corrected we enjoyed all of the food and found that grilling the items was fun. I hope that they will be more careful in the future about the order they bring the dishes.

    Service was a bit slow, but the dining room was busy. Didn't get our drinks until dinner came out. Wasn't explained what was what when the plates arrive But the quantity and quantity was very good
