Absinthe green walls decorate this speakeasy-like bar, a corner of it's own at the edge of the world.
Celebrating the diverse history of the hotel, the list features Botanicals and Tonics alongside classic cocktail concoctions inspired by those found in the original Café Royal Cocktail Book, published in 1937 and the origin for many of the world’s most renowned tipples. And let’s not forget the selection of light dishes and sharing small plates by Executive Chef Eliano Crespi and his culinary team.

                                                                    Experience was largely ruined by food being served cold and the kitchen serving the wrong dish. Whilst we were given a deduction from our bill, which was a reasonable response, I would expect better from a five star hotel. It was afternoon on New Year's Eve, but the hotel should have not permitted service standards to fail. Cocktails were good and inventive, but dressing of the bar for the festive period was not that special. Others do this better. Also seemed to have some inexperienced staff on duty.

                                                                    Such a nice cosy bar, a perfect way to start a date night. The staff were friendly, Phil was very welcoming and funny, he suggested some great cocktails, try the Enchanted, the presentation was fab!. We had mini burgers and courgette fries, which were just right. Will definitely visit again. Thanks Phil
