Specializing in Thai seafood dishes that highlight the abundance of locally-availability fresh Gulf fish and seafood. With a full Thai menu and a creative bar menu designed to accompany the tropical flavors of Thai food and the New Orleans cultural heritage, Executive Chef Aom Srisuk brings together the best flavors of the East with the best of the Big Easy. Good Catch is the sister restaurant to our smaller but more established uptown restaurant Pomelo.

Two blocks from Canal Street, and one-and-a-half blocks to St. Charles Ave. and less than a block away from the uptown (green) streetcar line. Short walk to the Saenger, Orpheum, Roosevelt, Ritz Carlton, and so much more.

Recommended parking garage: Clarke Garage at the intersection of Gravier & O'Keefe -- one block away (when we last checked in early 2025, their rates for ordinary days are only $5 for up to three hours or $10 for up to ten hours).

The Pad Thai was phenomenal! The time it took for all of us to get our food was annoying. One person got hers very quickly. The rest of us waited at least 25 - 30 minutes more. I will say the Pad Thai was worth the wait. 10/10!

We’ve been to good catch twice now and gotten something different for entrees both times. We’ve never left dissatisfied. You must get the bacon cabbage. I dream about it!

A delicious, delightful dining experience! My first-time guests thoroughly enjoyed the raw fish dish, accompanied by seaweed chips, Sea Scallops with Eggplant, Curry with Chicken, and Fried Rice with Lump Crabmeat. All of my photos didn't come out, but everything we ate was beautifully presented and exceptionally good. My friends are already making plans to return the next time they are in New Orleans.

Sadly, very busy and we waited over an hour for food. Curry was bland, pad thai just okay. Not bad, just boring. Overall, wouldn't go back again.

The food came out at different times. Three of us were finished before my husband’s came out. The food was very good though.

Outstanding night and value. We enjoyed six courses and enjoyed warm and well-paced service on a busy night. Great cocktails, too. Could not have been better.
