As you enter Golden Gai, you’re greeted by the warm ambiance of traditional Japanese decor fused with modern touches, creating an inviting atmosphere that is both chic and cozy. The soft glow of our stunning light fixtures over the intimate dining space, where the wooden bar top that spans the length of the space, and slate accents evoke the charm of Tokyo’s iconic Golden Gai district.

At the helm of our kitchen is Executive Chef Michael Taylor, a master of Japanese cuisine renowned for his innovative approach to flavor and presentation.                                                           Every dish and drink we had was perfect. The shrimp tempura is some of the best shrimp we’ve ever had!! Highly recommend. The service was wonderful and I loved the ambiance and mood of the whole restaurant itself. We sat at the bar and I would chose to sit there again!

                                                          Service was amazing, funky atmosphere was cool, music was fun at first and then wished it was changed up because it became monotonous, drinks are extremely overpriced for what you get, very small pour for $14 chardonnay, need a better beer selection, and most importantly the food was delicious, just was not served hot, almost asked them to warm up but tough for shrimp tempura to be warmed so we just ate it as is, otherwise overall we will go back even though we were a little disappointed.

                                                          Amazing food! The chefs are so talented! Service isn’t the best but the food makes up for it! Very small spot thetas why reservations are hard to get so book early!!!

                                                          Awesome dinner. We split the cucumbers, a spicy tuna roll, and the spicy tuna rice cake. All great flavors and a good starter for our meal. I had the special, an Udon Noodle spicy seafood dish. It was amazing! Wife had the ramen with mussels. Again really good! Service was outstanding, and the bar has a great vibe. We’ll be back.

                                                          Very good food, nice atmosphere! The udon noodles and sushi rolls were amazing. Recommend the FU Dog Drink as well.
