   I found this little gem of a restaurant for an early evening business meal and it didn't disappoint. The prices are very reasonable for London and the food were perfect sized portions and really tasty. My guest had the octopus to start which he said was excellent and the main courses of the chicken and the steak bavette (which was perfectly medium) were really tasty. We had the house red wine which again was great quality and a very reasonable price. We will definitely return!

   Lovely spot, just off Chancery Lane with an excellent, small menu. Food was delicious and a bit different (artichoke was excellent with a lovely tart mayonnaise based dip) and fabulous service from attentive and charming staff. Only downside is the acoustics which make the room noisy in parts.

   Proper French Brassiere with a modern twist and good service. Food and drinks were delicious and at an affordable price.

   We specifically visited for the August special, which was Bouillabaisse. It was not super busy for a Saturday night, but I prefer this. The food was super tasty, although it could have been served a bit hotter. The desert portions ticked all the boxes taste wise, and they were generous in size. It was the first time ever my partner failed to finish a chocolate desert. The service was an utter delight. It makes an evening much more enjoyable when you have good rapport with the staff. We will look forward to a future visit for sure.

   Excellente adresse pour de la vraie cuisine française , plats variés et bien cuisinés, cadre agréable à l écart des circuits touristiques et nombreux clins d œil à la culture française dans la deco, le service . Ne changez rien ! Nous reviendrons !

   I am now a pretty regular customer of Gazette - Chancery. The variety and quality of the food available is fantastic, as is the service where you can be guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome. A great choice in the Chancery Lane area.

   Delicious food and lovely ambience. Service a little slow but friendly. Perfect for a business lunch so we will be back.

   Been looking for a good reliable restaurant near our office and I think we may have finally found it. The food was very good - good ingredients well handled. The staff were excellent without being over attentive. The room is light and spacious and tables aren’t crammed in. And it’s much better value than some of its supposedly grander neighbours, whose food and cooking aren’t up to the same level. We’ll be back.

    Great food and a busy ambience at lunch time. Service was attentive, however a little slow. Very convenient work location so we will be back.
