   Service was great, biscuit and jam was top tier. It was loud but that’s to be expected. It was packed.

   We were a group of 4 visiting for brunch with a 11:30 reservation. We were seated promptly upon arrival. They have a parking garage with validation inside the restaurant. This made our visit so stress free! We asked for a nice table and we sure got it. Secluded and quiet so we could chat. Food was good, service was good. Neither were great but a solid good. Restaurant is pretty, very airy and bustling. We will be back that’s for sure!!

   I was excited to discover Founding Farms in Alexandria since we’ve enjoyed the food and service at the DC’s Founding Farmers in Penn Ave and Georgetown. But, the Alexandria one is a disappointing experience. First, we waited at least 10 minutes for the server before she showed up after we had to ask the hostess where our server was. Second, I ordered the breakfast Taco with a side of fruits, but the food came out cold (cold eggs) and the wrong side (no fruits). Third, my husband ordered eggs and steak; no knife was given to us (not even a butter knife on our table). Fourth, we told our server that the food came out cold and wrong. She apologized and told us she would get and inform her manager. Fifth, the server rarely checked on us and finally showed up. We asked for a water refill coz both my and my husband’s cups were empty, but she filled just one glass and left, not refilling my husband’s glass. Sixth, the manager didn't show up, but she told us that cold food had been an existing issue with the restaurant. She will remove the tacos from our check. Based on this experience, this boiled down to poor management and a lack of attention to detail. I will not come back to this location at all.

   We appreciate FF opening in Alexandria since we don’t have anything like this restaurant around Potomac Yard.? We appreciate the 2hr complimentary parking but it should be free. When we checked in before our reservation we had at 7p. We had to wait to be seated and we requested window seating we were not seated by the window and to top it next to an employee area not a desirable booth. I don’t know if they read requests on seating made in Opentable. I would like to know if the people seated around the windows if the requested it. Our server Casey was great but we felt rushed. The menu is huge and she kept coming back. However her dinner suggestions were spot on. At that time it seems a lot of food were no longer available Jambalaya there is no rice, key line pie not available among others. I think the food was over priced but at least there was a good amount and it was delicious. We’ll be back for sure hopefully my observation’s will be noted.

   Great experience with great food. I took my brother who has always worked in restaurants and is not easily impressed. He was very impressed and declared he would definitely go back again.

   Went the other day with my girlfriend we had reservations. Sat very quickly. Our server didn't acknowledge us until about 15 mins. Well we had to grab another server and she took our orders. The place itself was nice very welcoming happy friendly vibe. I thought the food was very average if I'm being honest. Went for brunch so I will go back for dinner and see if its a bit better. But overall not a bad spot

   Our server Asia was wonderful and provided the best service. The maple old fashion was perfect! So smooth. The food was delish! I recommend reservations since it is a new restaurant to the area, waiting for a table can take 1.5-2 hours for walk ins. Reservations are the way to go.

   Friendly staff and an ample menu for all tastes. I love the fact that even the condiments are homemade--nothing out of a bottle!

    New location for Founding Farmers doesn’t disappoint. Has lovely Alice and Wonderland feeling in its decor. Cornbread so fresh for starter. The gnocchi was delicious as was the rotisserie chicken. Finishing with the hand churned ice cream a perfect ending. Welcome to the neighborhood- will be back!
