Das Fogo de Chão ist ein brasilianischen Steakhouse - auch Churrascaria genannt - das seit über 35 Jahren im Brandrösten von hochwertigem Fleisch spezialisiert ist und dabei die Jahrhunderte alte südbrasilianische Kochtechnik „churrasco“ anwendet. Das Fogo bietet seinen Gästen eine große Auswahl an einfach gewürztem Fleisch, das sorgfältig über Feuer geröstet wird, um sein natürliches Aroma zu entfalten. The dining experience was superb. The staff worked at breakneck speed to ensure everyone was satisfied with their experience. Our experience started with the hostess at the welcome desk who read our reservation note about allergies. She immediately asked if we wanted to see a food list with ingredients for every dish on the menu. Jason, the General Manager, came by and discussed my wife’s specific dietary needs. He exhibited a knowledge of the menu and the ingredients that surprised us both. He was patient with us and made sure our personal experience was of a fine dining experience. Aiden was our server and he was an excellent resource on most levels and discussed our questions with Jason which involved him in the experience. Everyone we came in contact with was inviting, caring, and working for an excellent customer experience! We will return when we get back to NoLa.

I had a coupon for &25 off and I received a free dessert which made me happy; however, we had a 7 on reservation & the same beef floated around until we were done eating an hour or more later when we’d were full. The birthday coupons saved this meal

We selected the buffet style menu and omg, i wish we had fasted for a few days because the food was amazing. Every morsel of meat was delicious and cooked to perfection. The choices of side dishes were a perfect compliments to the selection of meat. To be honest, i didn’t order drinks because i was afraid of getting full too quickly. As it was, i had to take dessert home since it was impossible to eat. I strongly recommend going early for lunch and not having any breakfast or evening dinner plans. You will be happily satisfied with your culinary choices. I strongly recommend eating at Fogo de Chao.

This was the second time I came to this restaurant location. Both times had the same experience. Extremely slow service. When the food finally comes out it all at once vs throughout your experience. The problem with that is your loaded with several cuts of meat that eventually get cold. I know they were understaffed but this is my second time here. It seems like its a continuous problem.

Good service this time. It was Mardi Gras and everyone was having a good time. Kudos to the manager for allowing us to go to the balcony to watch parades.

We were staying in the JW Marriott celebrating our anniversary and Fofo de Chao is right on the first floor, so we thought we'd eat there since it was convenient. We reserved a table and went down and saw the restaurant was almost empty. We were seated with my back directly against the silverware station in what looked to be the worst table in the restaurant. The servers were constantly doing something with the silverware that sounded like they were mixing the silverware, to the point that we couldn't care on a conversation. I looked around the empty restaurant and asked if we could move to a nicer table away from the silverware "mixing bowl" and our server had to "go check". Reluctantly they allowed us to move and seated us near the front of the restaurant were we could watch the parades. As soon as we sat down, another couple entered the restaurant and they tried to seat them at the same table. The couple quickly exclaimed that they were not going to sit there, so they were seated next to us. I decided to order the Full Churrasco which includes the market table. When I went up, there were quite a few items that were empty and hadn't been replenished. The staff seemed nice, but I don't understand why they would try to fill the worst table in the place when much better tables were all empty. And maybe they decided that since it was slow, they didn't need to refill the market table, I don't know.

Food was great; service was so-so. We would have had a better experience had the wait staff been more attentive. We had a party of 6 and we all found the staff to be inattentive. Perhaps it was the size of our group or the location of our table. Again, food was great, on the occasions we were able to get what we wanted.
