   The crab dip appetizer was good but the meals were rather bland. Fish tacos had no seasoning. Seafood burrito also bland. Margarita tasted like watered down margarita mix. The porch was nice, good ambiance, service was decent, but the food left us wanting.

   It was okay. I heard several complaints about the hostess sending people with reservations (who came early) to the hotel bar next door. Guess they didn’t want them buying drinks at their bar? Seemed strange. My daughter’s fish sandwich was dried up and too crusty. My fish was perfectly cooked, but overall the choices seemed average at best.

   We waited 30 minutes for drinks to come out and an hour for food. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived so I am not sure what the delay was. Lots of the employees seem brand new as well.

   The recent change of menu wasn’t very inspired. It’s okay for the tourists, but as a local I wouldn’t go back.

   We were sad that they ran out of the crab stuffed hogfish...we were really wanting to try it but the butterfish was good. The margheritas were not good.

   First visit the experience was great (2/8/25)…live music on the deck, the Scottish Salmon Salad was amazing- good portion of salmon, lots of berries (strawberries, blueberries & raspberries), avocado, blue cheese, good dressing. Decided to return the next week, but unfortunately the experience wasn’t as good. Live music was advertised (Jah Movement), but there wasn’t and no one had a clue when we asked. I ordered the same salad and this time it was not the same. Just a few strawberries, no blue cheese. It was just okay. Not too eager to return due to the inconsistency. It was just “okay “.

    The Valentine's Day meal special was stupendous. The salad and soup appetizers were to die for. The surf and turf main entre was off the charts. The filet was cooked to perfection, and the lobster was sweet, succulent, and tender. It was cooked perfectly as well. The grand finale dessert was yummy. The fruit, chocolate, whipped cream, and ice cream combination was a delightful ending to a wonderful dining experience. The chocolate covered strawberry was my favorite! Even the presentation was impressive. It was a meal that I would never have imagined or expected at a laid-back Waterfront Florida restaurant. It was comparable to a 5-star steak house experience. The price was reasonable as well. I only wish there was an appropriate wine list to complement this exquisite meal. Our server was very attentive to our needs as well, and we tipped her handsomely. Kudos to Executive Chef Ken Gilcrest. Wishing you great success under new management. We'll be back!
