FKABAM is a place for fun. We take our food seriously, but not ourselves. Tables are close together, and the atmosphere is loud and vibrant. Reservations are available four weeks in advance for parties of 1 to 4 guests. For parties larger than this, please email info@blackaxemangal.com

We keep a few spaces free for walk-ins as first come first served.

We serve an A La Carte menu which is published on our Instagram @fkablackaxemangal. Limited numbers of new and old fave dishes will be available to add to your meal each night. We also have options for vegetarian/vegan diners available upon request as well as some Gluten Free options- unfortunately we cannot cater for soy allergies.

Please note our cancellation policy and do not ask us to waiver fees if you forget to cancel within the time frame.

I absolutely love this place and my first experience of the Brunch today certainly didn't disappoint. If you're looking for intimate and serene fine dining then this is not the place for you but if you want great tasting food, innovative food in a rocking environment with great staff then get here as soon as you can. My wife always says she feels like she is on holiday when we eat here, it's the kind of buzzing place that you get on holiday that you really enjoy the whole experience and that is what FKABAM encompasses. The staff are amazing, always friendly and with a smile on their faces The food is taste sensation after taste sensation; the Vietnamese scrambled eggs for brunch today were asian inspired scrambled eggs with a flatbread replacing the toast and just wow. Sure there will be things you may not like as much, today I discovered I wasn't such a fan of Szechuan pepper but isn't that part of your food education and the experience though I did discover beetroot and eel after a shot of vodka and shot of beetroot juice is great. Yes, we are probably at the more senior end of the age range; most there today could be our kids or maybe even grand kids but that's what makes it a nice vibe; it's just fun. This place just makes me smile every time we go; my wife has to drag me to other places to try when we are in London otherwise I'd be here every time. And as I am sure others would say, it can be loud, never been to a restaurant before that played Highway to Hell, but for me FKABAM is more Highway to Nirvana. Thanks to the team there, you make my day every time I come.

The food is excellent. The flavours are wonderful, and the kitchen seems to prepare the food with real care. BUT the ambiance is insane. The music is deafening. As loud as a night club. I don’t mind music, but I like to hear what my fellow diners are saying. And it is HOT. It’s a small restaurant with a gigantic oven in the corner. So it’s uncomfortably warm. The heat combined with the music made me feel like I was in a CIA sensory deprivation torture room. This ruined it for me, in afraid.

It’s good. Not great. Tasty food but not wildly imaginative. The bone marrow is overpriced. Decent value overall

Nothing to fault. The food was delicious, everything we ate was new and exciting flavours. The staff were all lovely, the service was quick despite being busy. Cannot recommend more!

My fourth time in three months. It’s impossible to pigeonhole what style of food FKABAM is beyond bloody delicious. Incredible flavour combinations, unique dishes, great service and just awesome fun. Can’t get enough of coming here. Probably the best restaurant in London. Always ask for the counter seat!

My brother and I went to FKABAM for brunch and it was incredible. The service was another level, the serving staff kind, attentive, and so incredibly thoughtful. I'm vegan and they made me feel really well looked after and offered alternatives I could have despite the brunch menu not being specifically catered to vegans (I believe this is because they've just re-started their brunches and might offer vegan menus soon). The ambience is super fun and music is great too. The food was incredible, I had a mapo tofu dish and my brother had the doughnut and a big mac inspired one that he said was really good. We absolutely loved it! The head chef and owner was the nicest person and we had a great chat with him too. He really made the whole experience!
