   Excellent food, drinks, and service. Even had outdoor seating and I could bring my pup! Our server Kaelani (spelling?) was the best, like went above and beyond and made me feel cared for on my birthday!

   Amazing experience from the top notch service (THANK YOU ALIZEA) and the incredible soul food. The brunch experience was so good that I returned the next day for dinner. Highly recommend for anyone visiting or living in Sacramento who wants a great meal with a group of friends or for an easy date night.

   One of the better foods I found in sac and the place is atmosphere is just amazing. The customer service is on point. Everyone’s nice to you. The food is amazing. Everything is made in the house. It’s just wonderful.

   Food was good . Breakfast potato’s weren’t good . Cold and dry. I expect breakfast potato to have onion and pepper in it . Coffee wasn’t hot . But other than that everything was good . Everyone’s plate was clean except for the potatoes

   We love Fixins! It’s our go-to place for soul food and they have the best fried chicken in Sacramento! Love the vibe, the diverse crowd, fun hip cool atmosphere. Our host and server were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Loved our server’s “Make Racism Wrong Again” hat too! The food is delicious and why we keep coming back - we got the gumbo and family fried chicken bucket with biscuits, collared greens, mac Mac n cheese, candied yams and fried okra. Extra cornbread muffins. All was superb. Always can count on Fixins for a special meal.

   As always, the food was great there was a misunderstanding when we first got there with the hostess about the reservation request, but then the manager BJ stepped in and he was able to resolve the situation and we had a really good meal and the food was great as always.

   Always a great experience. The restaurant is busy because the food and service is spectacular. Every dish I’ve had is absolutely delicious but my favorite is the shrimp and grits, greens, and catfish. I will be at fixins every chance I get!

    Came here for family visit brunch, and couldn't have had a better time. Drinks were top notch, food was incredible, everyone got what they wanted, and the only problem was trying to decide from all the delicious options. Hosts and wait staff were very attentive, friendly and fun!
